describe
A very simple mod that applies my custom 2K texture work to a vanilla ship model. The texture is darker and is based on a realistic traditional Baltic pine tar boat weatherproofing. Shiny rivets, weathering - boats have never looked so realistic!
More shipowners…
Check out my grid of custom vanilla boat alternatives here. I hope someone with more CK experience than this low level modeler will implement these in the game. Some of my work here (such as my Bretic ship statics) has been used to augment ongoing project work in Beyond Skyrim - like Atmora, Roscrea, Iliac Bay... I can't overstate how amazing the work the community is doing out there, and how they're helping me improve my skills.
Happy sailing!

Please also check out my custom vanilla ship replacer meshes over here. It's my hope that someone with more CK experience than this lowly modeller will implement these in-game. Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
