Okay, here we go, a revamp and reimagining of my pattern Noiral. Basically, I've removed the custom racing aspect of the mod, allowing you to play any race as a Noral. Still, with some slightly revamped spells, a new primal transformation and mounts you can summon, this is basically a mod for ranger/druid enthusiasts.
Nothing, except what you downloaded from here =)
The Noralites were a small tribe of druids made up of members of many races, who followed the teachings found in an ancient manuscript written by Tajir the Tattooed, said to be a hero of the Atmoran Civil War and one of the Five Hundred Companions of Ishgrammer. This manuscript and the secrets within it were passed from Tagil to his son Yngvar, the founder of Noiral. After learning these secrets, and mastering the rituals in the Sedar books, Yngvar shared these secrets with a select few who then isolated themselves in the wilds of Skyrim, away from prying eyes, lest those who would abuse their power get hold of them. The tribe survives in Skyrim, passing down their secrets from generation to generation, and the children of the original members no longer need to be branded on their skin like their ancestors, who are "branded" despite their glowing eyes and mystical symbols burning in their irises. The Norarians had largely stayed out of Skyrim's affairs, that is, until the Telmor invasion.
In their struggle to destroy the cult of Talos, the Telmorians discovered the village of Noral deep in the wilds of Skyrim. Despite the immense power the Noralites wielded, the Telmorians were too numerous and the Noral tribes were destroyed and villages burned to ashes and cinders. The few surviving Noral are now scattered across the sky.
Teachings of Thadgeir:
Thadgeir's manuscripts speak of Thadgeir's early travels and traveling to strange and unknown places. It was on these journeys that he learned strange rites and rituals and branded his body with occult symbols (earning him the nickname "The Tattooed Man"). These symbols are believed to bind the original nature spirit to a very being and allow those imprinted to tap into this spirit, granting them various powers and abilities, allowing them to shapeshift into the original beast.
Noral can manifest part of their power, and for a short time create a fire wolf named "Amalok" to aid in their journey. The Amoks gained power, while the Norals gained power in rank. *Note that they will need to be reconvened into these areas if necessary. (This beast has a glowing map that glows in the dark!)
Noral can manifest part of their power and for a short time create a ferocious bear named Shardik to aid in their journey. The shark's power increased, and so did Noral's. *Note that they will need to be reconvened into these areas if necessary. (This beast has a glowing map that glows in the dark!)
Noiral can manifest part of their power and create a fiery cat named Nekomata for a short time to help them travel. Nekomata is a mountain you can summon. Note that Nekomata will attack your target when you use the attack button on the left. Still, you won't be able to use the bow or magic spells while riding Neko Mata. You will need to draw your weapons to take advantage of your mount's attack capabilities.
Another note on Nekomata. This cat is sometimes lazy when first summoned, and if you ride it while it's lying down, you can't get it to move until it's ready. Best advice, walk away a bit and then come back and make it stand up. Or hit it once with your fist or weapon to make it stand up.
Noral can summon a gnome shaman who can use magic in combat.
Noral can summon a Spriggan Child, who wields an icy spear in battle.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
