Legend Edition
describe:
The title says it all.
This simple mod removes all trees from Skyrim's landscape. This sounds great in theory, but the changes it brings and the impact it has on the game as a whole is incredible. For those who want to make the scenery of Tamriel new and interesting after the end of the 11th game, this mod is definitely worth a try! Don't slam it until you try it :3
performance:
This is undoubtedly a problem on anyone's lips, especially if you take steps to remove all trees for a smoother gaming experience.
I use over 60 texture models with Rudy ENB tuned for better performance. My grass mod is Veydosebrom, which unfortunately has been set to hidden since :(
My results depend on location, I tested 3 areas that I felt were most affected and will update throughout the game!
Rift City:
Before -> 25-30 FPS
After that -> 35 FPS
Riverwood:
Before -> 35 FPS
After that -> 40-45 FPS
Xueman:
Before -> 25 FPS
After that -> 35 FPS
So, in short, depending on your position and load order, you can expect an increase in FPS between 5-15 frames!
Install:
Unpack.rar content to Data\
Either
Use NMM or MO
important!
Edit this line in SkyrimPrefs.ini
[TerrainManager]
fTreeLoadDistance = 0.0000

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
