Full health recovery that occurs after recovery sleep and leveling up.

Skyrim GitHub

This feature is designed to work with any mod that reduces or zeroes out health regeneration, such as No More Passive Health Regen or Reality Regen - RealRegen.

It can also be used to emulate similar functionality present in Requiem prior to version 2.0.2, for example if you are using a port of Special Edition (the corresponding SKSE plugin was not converted), or if using a later version, this functionality has been removed. .

Require

SKSE。

A mod or tweak to reduce health updates as vanilla rates can't appreciate the effects of this mod.

Examples include but are not limited to:

No more passive health regeneration;

Reality Regen-RealRegen;

Requiem;

SkyTweak;

Use modAV in the console to lower the HealRate;

Modify Health Regen directly in the game record.

Install

Use the Mod Manager of your choice, Mod Organizer 2 is recommended.

feature

After sleeping, health returns to its previous state; any regeneration rate of HealRate depends on the duration of sleep.

After an upgrade, the health status is restored to its previous state; additionally, if it is selected as an attribute to increase, this difference is added back.

Known issues

When the final regeneration rate drops below zero, health can be reduced to levels below the initial value, potentially resulting in death: this is the case, for example, when combining the effects of the above mods with the penalties Frostfall gives for high exposure.

Note that this is inconsistent with how the game handles negative regeneration, as it does no extra damage to health. Still, I left this side effect in place to encourage the player to regain health before falling asleep.

Installation

Features

After sleep, health is reverted to its previous state; any regeneration rate HealRate is accounted for the hours spent sleeping.

After level up, health is reverted to its previous state; additionally, if it was chosen as the attribute to increment, such difference is added back.

Known Issues

Health can be reduced to lower than the initial value, possibly causing death, when the resulting regeneration rate is below zero: for example this is the case when combining the effect of a mod above with the penalty for high exposure given by Frostfall.

Note that this is not consistent with how the game handles a negative value of regeneration, since it wouldn't cause additional health damage; nonetheless I left this side effect as an incentive for players to restore their condition before going to sleep.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
