About this mod Machine translation
This mod makes Shadowmere's textures a bit darker, gives him better stats and some new abilities to make him more unique. ::Mod Compatibility::
This mod will be incompatible with any other mod trying to edit Shadowmere. How to tell if there is a mode conflict with Shadowmere? Any mod that states from the mod description that it will change Shadowmere's appearance, speed, level, factions, spells, or perks will be incompatible. Unfortunately, some mods don't clearly mention that they edit Shadowmere, so if you suspect a conflict, you can use SSEEdit to load your current load order and immediately spot any conflicts with Shadowmere (Form ID: 0009CCD7). You can resolve conflicts by loading Nightmere after any conflict mode, so Nightmere's changes will be visible in the game. Use the following basic load order as a guide to resolve such conflicts:

In addition to using load order to resolve conflicts, certain mods (such as adding new perks, factions or spells to Shadowmere) can be made more compatible through the use of merge patches, Bashed Patch and/or a. Smashed patch. What if I just load Clash Mode before Nightmere? Any new perks, factions, or spells added by Clash's mod will not be carried over (or given to Shadowmere in-game). See the next section below for more details on these three patches and how they can help transfer these rewards to Shadowmere (if you really want Shadowmere to have them).
If you find any conflicting mods then please send me a message so for the sake of other users I can list conflicting mods by name in this compatibility section:::Compatible Mods::

Please note that the following mods are not actually required for this mod to work:
Mod Organizer 2 will give you better flexibility when installing this mod and its optional files. In addition to being able to virtually install mods (installing them safely outside of the Data folder, thus keeping the Data folder clean), it gives you the ability to choose which assets from one mod will overwrite those from another mod - which will be a feature that makes customizing Shadowmere easier with this mod's optional files.
It is recommended to use Merged Patches created by SSEEdit to increase compatibility with mods that add specific properties to Shadowmere, such as perks or keywords. You can learn how to create a merge patch here. Tip: A merged patch can preserve perks, keywords, factions, etc. that would otherwise be "lost" to module conflicts. Fixing these can lead to better consistency in the game, fix minor bugs, and even crash with certain scripted modules.
Bashed Patch created with Wrye Bash improves the likelihood of projects added to Shadowmere using other mods, even if Nightmere.esp overrides conflicting mods, as long as the mod author adds them to the appropriate level list. You can learn how to create a patch with negatives here, although with this mod it may not be necessary to create one for your load order in order to better use your weapon and armor models. Tip: Players experience many crashes when conducting transactions with merchants, opening NPC inventories and containers, or even just exploring Skyrim (during certain NPC spawns in dungeons or random encounters) that can be fixed using the Bashed Patch.
Mashed patches created using Mator Smash are also available, which eliminates the need to create Bashed Patch and Merged Patch and is in many ways more efficient than either of these patches. You can learn how to create one here. ::Permissions::

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
