This mod turns your not-so-scary vanilla chaurus into a nightmarish chaurus by replacing the vanilla skeleton with a custom one. Arachnophobes take their medicine better!

NIGHTMARE CHAURUS LEGENDARY EDITION!!!

If you're like me and were disappointed with vanilla Chaurus, then this mod is for you. This mod replaces the vanilla Chaurus skeleton with a new custom skeleton designed to give Skyrim's Chaurus a nightmarish appearance. Working within the confines of vanilla mesh, I enlarged the limbs, skull, tail and made some subtle changes to the Chaurus. The result is a nightmarish Chaurus that will strike terror into anyone who ventures into the depths of Skyrim. This affects all Chaurus in Skyrim.

[[[MOD COMPATIBILITY]]]

Nightmare Chaurus uses the vanilla Chaurus' custom skeleton and will override any mods that change the vanilla Chaurus' skeleton. Mods that make radical changes to the vanilla skeleton (such as "Realistic Ragdoll and Force") should be compatible as long as "Nightmare Chaurus" is installed after these mods and its files are allowed to be overwritten.

Should be fully compatible with any texture mod, as this mod does not contain its own skeleton-only textures. This also makes it compatible with most other creature models that don't edit vanilla skeletons.

[[[INSTALLATION]]]

It is recommended to use Mod Manager or your favorite mod manager.

Install "Nightmare Chaurus" after any mod that makes changes to vanilla Chaurus, and click "Yes to all" when prompted to overwrite any files.

There is no "esp plugin" for this mod.
