Nightgate Cabin

by RyoHab·v1.0·Updated 2019-05-01

I have always wanted a simple, comfortable, functional, killer home, far away from the city lights (and Riverwood) but close to the business people. So I made this cabin for one of my games. It's located on the edge of a small lake near the Nightgate Inn, Hadring offers more than just bed and breakfast. He now buys and sells everything.

About this mod Machine translation

I have always wanted a simple, comfortable, functional, killer home, far away from the city lights (and Riverwood) but close to the business people. So I made this cabin for one of my games. It's located on the edge of a small lake near the Nightgate Inn, Hadring offers more than just bed and breakfast. He now buys and sells everything.

describe

Nightgate cabins are located on a small lake near the Nightgate Inn. It has two rooms. You enter the living area of the house, where your character can cook, warm himself by the fireplace, or take a nap (good rest bonus included). There are three weapon racks and two plaques to display your weapons, and there are plenty of other places to store your stuff. All containers are safe. Some are famous, some are not.

I want a little freedom when it comes to storing things.

The second room is a multi-purpose room. It has a table to prepare for your next adventure or reading or something :), an alchemy table with some containers to lay out your ingredients and mixtures. An armor workbench, because you have to have that armor on to put it on?

Sharpening wheel keeps your weapons sharp. A bookcase...well...there are other places in the room for valuables, including a safe behind the door.

Outside the cabin is also another storage area (screenshot).

There isn't a full forge or an enchantment table right now because my character doesn't use them, but if you use the Cutting Room Floor mod, there is a blacksmith and an alchemy shop surrounding the Nightgate Inn. I highly recommend the mod!

Bonus features

The Nightgate Inn is located on one of the main roads in Skybridge, in the middle of nowhere. I believe the main reason for trading in Skyrim is that people exchange goods for services when they are short of gold. So someone comes to the hotel and has no gold coins, but has a beautiful ring, or is attacked by bandits and manages to defeat them and wants to trade some weapons for food and supplies. Something like this. A smart innkeeper can take advantage of these situations to make money. With this in mind, Hadring made some upgrades to his inventory. He's now willing to trade in more than just food and drink. His inventory isn't that big, but his income has doubled, so he can now take more hands.

More

This mod also adds: Royal Steel Armor and Gauntlets (modified Ulfrics clothing) to the Yngol Barrow boss chest

I use the Immersive armors mod! Can't play without it! So in my game Ulfric is wearing Stormlords armor and his vanilla costume is unused. Just couldn't keep that cool armor out of the game, so I added it.

This is light armor, with statistics between scale and glass armor, and can be upgraded. Oh, it matches Yngol's helmet perfectly

If you don't like the armor, you can sell it, ignore it, or throw it into the Sea of Ghosts. Or use CK to delete it.

The mod has been cleaned using SSEdit and tested in my playthrough with no issues.

This is the first mod I've released for SSE, so any reasonable comments and/or tips are welcome.

Thanks to everyone who called on Novotel USA to try and create all the models for different situations

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
