About this mod Machine translation
Plug-ins for PCEA2 and VRIK in VR. Make the player character's combat stance animation more neutral, natural and upright.
***NOTE: This mod is designed to work with VRIK and PCEA2, this mod has only been tested in VR***
[describe]
If you are using VRIK as your VR body then you may have noticed that when performing actions such as holding a weapon, swinging, blocking, etc., the body animates in a somewhat unnatural way... This is the limitation imposed by vanilla game animations. Animations work the same way as for NPCs or player characters in third person perspective.
My purpose in doing this is to solve/mitigate the problem.
This is more of a plugin than a mod, meant to be used with another mod called "PCEA2", and therefore requires the mod and all of its dependencies to be used. After installing this add-on, you can find and activate it via PCEA2's in-game MCM menu, but be sure to re-run FNIS *Skeleton Fix* before starting the game after installation, otherwise the mod will have no effect.
[How it is made]
The creation of this plugin is a very basic process, taking the vanilla idle animation from the game and using it to replace all other animations that affect combat stance, thus creating the illusion of your character standing straighter and more stable, while allowing VRIK's inverse kinematics to fill in natural movement based on the HMD and controller position.
[Install]
[1] Make sure the following prerequisites are installed and configured correctly first:
- VRIK Player Avatar (Visit mod page for usage and installation instructions)
- New Tour for Skyrim SE - FNIS SE (Visit the mod page for usage and installation instructions)
- FNIS PCEA2 - Player Exclusive Animation (Dynamic) SE (Visit the mod page for usage and installation instructions)
[2]Install and activate this plugin.
[3] Activate the animation overlay in PCEA2 settings via the in-game MCM menu... called "VRIK_VR"
***I haven't tested this on the desktop version of the game, but if you're playing the desktop version of the game and just using PCEA2 I don't see any reason why this mod wouldn't work for you. * **

This is more of an addon rather than a mod, meant to be used with another mod known as "PCEA2" and therefore that mod and all of it's dependencies are required for this to work. [How it was made]
The creation of this addon was a very basic process of taking vanilla idle standing animation from the game and using it to replace every other animation that affect stance during combat, therefore creating an illusion of your character standing up more straight and consistent while at same time allowing VRIK's Inverse Kinematics fill in the natural movement based on HMD and controller position instead.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
