Lydia
Legend Edition
In their noob days, everyone is forced to meet Lydia. Burden bearer and it would be an honor to meet you. While some mods verbalize her accent, there are formulas that can change her appearance. I really don't like these.
Lydia is part of a larger pattern: a natural person, still a WIP.
This mod requires USSEP to fix it.
natural person
Natural Man is a model I created after the UNO patch failed as a "natural, human depiction" of Skyrim NPCs.
I actually set some rules for myself:
The Nords and those living in the Nordic Islands were historically very clean people. Dirt will be removed and general trash will be situational rather than standard.
Historically, makeup was for the wealthy. Almost every female NPC has a tier. If the situation makes sense, make it look beautiful and reasonable.
The appearance needs to match the character's lore. If they are a fancy or flashy character, their face and hair will reflect it.
Don't stray too far given their vanilla character. The best example is a complete hair color change. Ysolda is a red-headed brunette and no one can agree with Astrid's hair. Eye color also needs to remain within the visible spectrum of the original setting. Green means green, blue means blue, etc.
Be careful to remember that those people are humanoids. Pay attention to their characters, how they act in the game, and especially their in-game dialogue. Make your face fit the person.
RaceMenu morphing faces.
I hope modders will make careful adjustments to Lydia while taking these aspects into consideration.
If this single test goes well, I'll collect my feedback and start releasing other NPCs in faction/location batches.
Lydia’s assets are as follows:
Update on KS Hairstyle – Sunset Glow
Beautiful Eyes - Dragon
Eyebrows - Female Human Light 5
Improved eye reflections and cubemaps
Eye normal map fix

Lydia
Legendary Edition
Everybody is pretty much, in their noob days, forced to meet Lydia. The bearer of burdens, and ever honored to see you. Although certain mods flesh her out verbally, there is metric ton which change her appearance. None of which I really like.
Lydia is a part of a bigger mod: Natural People, which is still a WIP.

Natural People
Natural people is a mod I created after the failing of my UNO patches, as a "Natural, Human depiction" of Skyrim NPCs.
I actually set a few rules for myself:
Nords and those who lived in the Nordic Isles are historically very clean people. Dirt is to be removed and general grunge is to be situational, not the standard.
Makeup was, historically, for those with money. Almost every female NPC has a layer. If the situation makes sense, make it look aesthetically sensible.
Appearances need to match the character's lore. If they are a fancy or flamboyant character, their face and hair will reflect it.
Take into account their Vanilla features, and don't stray too far. The best example of this is drastically changing hair colors. Ysolda is a redhead turned brunette, and no one can agree on Astrid's hair. Also eye colors are to stay within the visible spectrum of their original setting. Green for green, blue for blue, etc.
Take care in remembering those people are humanoids. Take in care their character, how they act in-game, and especially their in-game dialogue. Make the face fit the person.
RaceMenu Morph Faces.
I hope modders enjoy my meticulous tweaking of Lydia with these aspects in mind.
If this individual test goes well, I will take my feedback, and start releasing other NPCs in faction/locational batches.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
