NARFI'S HOME RESTORED v1
Let's face it, people: Narfi ruined the family's home with an eye for Ivarstead. The villagers are so heartless that they just let this poor fool live in a semi-destroyed house? They probably were, since they even put a Dark Brotherhood contract on poor Narfi...but not anymore! The villagers (and me) have enough ugly houses to ruin the beauty. So they help Narfi restore the house to its original appearance again.
Let's get technical: All Ivarstead hasn't touched is anything except Narfi's house, not even a navigator. I just added some hay roof, some wooden walls, beams and planks, a cooking pot, and some markers that Narfi has. He should be fine sandboxing in his home, hammering on the walls, sitting on his new fur, or warming himself over his new fire. He also has a door, so it feels more like being in a real house, but everything is outside. I didn't add anything that would require adjusting the navmesh, so no new Narfi furniture. I checked the screenshots of JK and Arthmoor's Ivarstead overhaul, but none of these touch Narfi's house, so they should work with my mod.
If you look at the house from far enough away, the shape of the house is enough to catch the eye now, just as it was before. Or at least I hope, that's it. Even if Narfi died somehow (ahem), purely by accident of course, at least his house is now in tip-top shape and obviously superior in every way compared to the rest of the village (lol). Jokes aside, if you find yourself thinking: wtf this is ugly, why isn't this beautiful? The answer is: it's intentionally ugly. This shows that the villagers don't care at all about the Nazi's well-being. They're like: let's get it done as quickly as possible, and if it looks good, it's done, who cares about the rest.
Just need Skyrim.

NARFI'S HOME RESTORED v1
Let's face it, people: Narfi's ruined family home is an eyesore in Ivarstead. Are the villagers so heartless, that they just let the poor fool live in a half-destroyed house? They probably are, since they even put a Dark Brotherhood contract on poor Narfi... But not anymore! The villagers (and I) had enough of that ugly house ruining the nice view. So they helped Narfi to make the house somewhat back in shape again.
Let's get technical: nothing has been touched in all Ivarstead, except Narfi's house, not even the navmesh. I just added some hay roofs, some wooden walls, beams and planks, a cooking pot, and some markers owned by Narfi. He should sandbox nicely in his home, hammering the walls, sitting on his new pelts, or warming himself over his new fire. He has a door too, so it feels more like he is in a real house, however everything remained exterior. I refrained from adding anything that would require adjusting the navmesh, so no new furniture for Narfi. I checked the screenshots of JK's and Arthmoor's Ivarstead overhauls and none of those seemed to touch Narfi's house, so they should work together with my mod.
If you look at the house from far enough, now it is house-shaped enough to not be that much of an eyesore, as it was before. Or at least I hope, that's the case. Even if Narfi somehow (ahem) dies, purely by accident of course, at least his house is in top shape now, and clearly is superior in every way compared to the rest of the village (lol). Jokes aside, if you catch yourself thinking like: wtf this is so ugly, why isn't this as pretty as it can be? The answer is: it's intentionally ugly. It shows the villagers no …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
