About this mod Machine translation

mysterious greenhouse

This mod requires the main Skyrim game and official update patches, as well as all official DLC (Dragonborn, Hearthfires and Dawnguard). Also required is my MysteriousWorkshop mod (available in the Workshop mod, this one should be compatible with every other mod out there. If you find any clear conflicts please let me know. The reason I made these two separate mods is because to grow your own plants, especially the Hearthfires DLC is required... but people without the DLC can still use the workshop tools. Combining them will be an inconvenience for those who don't have and don't want the DLC expansion

Bag.

The Mystic Greenhouse adds a spacious greenhouse to your Mystic Studio. Includes 171 individual soils for growing crops

Your choice. Some planters are single plants, some are two plants side by side, and the east and west rooms can accommodate 3 plants each. The greenhouse can be accessed from either of two new doors in the corners of the Mysterious Workshop building. Don't use the COC console code "COC aaaMysteriousGreenhouse" to go there or you'll be sent somewhere...weird...a garden gnome shed! If you read the note near Anise's cabin, you'll find something about the gnome. Well, this console code will get you into the side room left by the gnome. They love gardens. Please don't mess with gnomes, they're not just for show! They are part of the script for getting your plants growing in your greenhouse! Once you find it, you can still fast-travel to the front door of the Mystery Workshop, then go to the side door to enter the Greenhouse.

As always, the building is located a few steps northwest of Anise's cabin... From Riverwood you want to cross the river, turn left and walk west along the river bank for a while, leaving the main road only to cross the grass until you see Anise's cabin. You may spot a bear wandering near your front door, so be careful when you get close. If you haven't found Anise's cabin yet, stand in front of the Warrior Stone, leading from Helgen to Riverwood (escape execution at the start of the game and escape the dragon). If you look through the hole in the middle of the Warrior Stone, you should see factory buildings in the small forest across the river.

PLEASE NOTE: The greenhouse room has items and containers RESPAWN as this is required for the plants to actually grow. So if you want to install any items, put them in the workshop rather than the greenhouse. That's why I didn't put any storage space in the greenhouse.

There is a known BUG: when using this mod, sometimes a new set of doors will be generated, covering the entrance to the WORKSHOP room. To enter the workshop, simply open those exterior doors and then click in the middle to open the actual car door leading to the workshop. You'll see it when the text changes from "Open Door" to "Mysterious Workshop."

According to elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Greenhouse, here is a list of all the plants you can grow in a greenhouse:

Food crops: cabbage, carrots, gourds, leeks, potatoes, wheat;

Mushrooms: bleeding crown, blister, fly amanita, glowing mushroom, mora, mora tapinella, Namira rot, white cap, scales

scale;

Flowers: blue mountain flower, red mountain flower, purple mountain flower, lavender, nightshade, death bell, dragon's tongue;

Fruits: Jazbay grapes, juniper berries, snowberries

Others: Dogroot, Creep Tufts, Giant Lichen, Grass Pods, Swamp Fungus Pods, Thistle Branches*, Tundra Cotton*. (Remember, the Thistle and Tundra Cotton Alchemy effects were modded by Mystery Studio!)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
