About this mod Machine translation

Players are deep in the swamps northeast of Morthal, with a fascinating alchemy, cooking, storage, tanning shelves, staff, bookworms, bookcases, etc. No anvils/forges. Some cool custom effects come into the home.

Home is in the cold swamps northeast of Morthal. It's a fairly small cabin type that looks like something a witch might live in. The added effect is really cool. The oldrim author's page is quoted here. "The house has a kitchen with a cooking pot and oven, and a library with an alchemy workbench and an enchantment workbench. There's a bedroom with a staff wizard, and plenty of storage containers around it, but none of them look out of place. The house has a lot of animators, lots of cool stuff around it, and is about to give it a haunted or enchanted feel. It just requires a witch player to own it and a pet black cat."

There are two variations of the Oldrim mod and I'm too lazy to mess around. I'm sure I kept the prototype of the original schema, but I added the transformations to the swampland locations provided on the page. I have 99% of my mesh/texture issues fixed on SE. Several small beakers were removed from the rack 20 or whatever the beaker was because no matter how I tried to correct them, the grid was broken. When you look at them, they do things where the texture stretches throughout the creation. IDK. The pumpkins weren't converting correctly (there was an edit I couldn't understand), so I just removed the alternate texture tags in the outdoor esp's to make them look like the indoor ones. I'm not sure if they're in a broken version or what; the replacement textures don't exist in my folder for this mod.

The late arrival of this semi-conversion is a casualty of my skipping Skyrim, which is a bit more regretful than last year. Hug the Jackal means bringing it up as we speak. I still don't know how to email a folder, hmm. I don't think they meant to get it done. So here it is. Feel free to grab this and message me to delete it so it can be posted.

Thank you to anyone who put this mod on the list of mods like Cabin Country Housing. If you don't, it's not in my game.

I'm not the author and I think the author doesn't play anymore. Major changes may not be realistic. I will do my best to correct small things, both for my own burden and yours.

Oldrim mod comes in two variants of which I am too lazy to mess with. Pretty sure I left the architecture for the primary one intact but I added the conversion to swampland location which was offered on page. I fixed 99% of the mesh/texture issues with bringing this to SE. A couple tiny beakers got deleted on the shelf with 20 or whatever beakers because the mesh broke no matter how I tried to correct them. They did that thing where textures stretch all across creation when you look at them. idk. The pumpkins do not convert correctly (there is an edit I couldn't make sense of,) so I simply deleted the alternate texture tag in esp on the outdoor ones allowing them to appear same as indoor ones. I'm not sure if they were broken in oldrim version or what; The alternate texture doesn't exist in my folder for this mod.

This semi-conversions late arrival was a casualty of my hopping off skyrim for a bit over last year sorry jackal meant to put it up when we spoke. I still have no idea how to send folders in mail, m …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
