Become a museum. It will proudly house the many unique and ancient artifacts found throughout the land

Skyrim and beyond. Will you assist Jarl in finding artifacts that can be displayed in the museum?

feature:

The Solitude Museum, a new three-story building opposite the Hall of the Dead, has been completely meshed.

A simple mod for displaying unique artifacts without additional tasks and leveraging only vanilla assets.

Featuring over 150 unique items found in Skyrim and Solstheim, including Daedric, quest items, armor, weapons, books, and more.

Information plaques (called tags) on all placed items to inform players of the lore surrounding each specific item.

The building is guarded day and night to ensure the safety of the cultural relics.

Norbert, the new deputy to the National People's Congress and director of the museum.

Use vanilla dialogue for voice expression.

To reveal the artifact, first, you must complete the quest "Elisif's Tribute". This is to gain the Jarl's trust and prove that you are a capable adventurer. Once the mission is completed, you will receive a key so that you can access it at any time of the day. Then you can also talk to curator Norbert, who is at the museum from 8am to 8pm. Just give Norbert a unique piece of art and he'll find a space in the museum. If he thinks it's not fun enough, he'll give it back to you. Due to the way the game handles Quest items and containers, some items use a slightly different sorting menu, but it becomes obvious when you talk to Norbert. Artifacts that can be displayed have been carefully selected based on their characteristic appearance, interesting backstory, or important role in TES lore. I intentionally excluded certain uniques to make the mod as lore-related as possible, such as certain secret society items. If you don't like what items are on offer, there is a book on the shelf behind the counter that contains an A to Z list of all the items that can be displayed.

Install:

Can be installed with the Mod Manager or manually by dragging .esp and .bsa into the Data folder. Place it in any position that would change the level of loneliness. It is intended for you to install this mod on a new playthrough to find new artifacts on the go.

You can install it just fine as long as you complete "Elisif's Tribute", or you can install it throughout the playthrough. However, you will not receive the key to do this this way. There is a hidden key in the safe in the bushes to the right of the front door, so you can access the museum after hours.

Require:

Latest version of USLEEP (unofficial SSE patch)

compatibility:

Incompatible with any mod that changes the grassland opposite the undead across from the Hall of Silence (probably most mods inside Lonely City)

Additional information:

At this time, I will not be including the display of any lore items added by the Creation Club DLC. However, I can add other additional features, but only if I need to use them regularly. If you find a bug, please let me know in the comments and we'll try to fix it!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
