Ported here from the original Oldrim mod: Soul Gem textures work as a base out of the box. Additional color enhancements were made, such as green flecks in the yellow Common Soul Gem.
Multi-Layer Parallaxing (or MLP for short, yes I know what else it stands for, it was no longer interesting during the development of this mod) is not Parallax Bump Mapping, but a different parallax effect. To understand what it's doing, you should familiarize yourself with what parallaxing is (
Multi-layer Parallaxing adds an underground texture that appears to be "inside" the geometry and moves back and forth in parallel as the viewpoint is translated on the surface of the geometry. Other effects such as refraction and scaling are also options in the mesh material settings. If you play Dragon Age Inquisition, the frozen lakes and rivers and more importantly the red Lyrium use a more advanced version of this material shader effect. If you play Assassin's Creed Odyssey, several ancient Isu panels (such as Ancient Tablets) also have this effect.
It is not required for ENBSeries to function properly. Parallax bump mapping is bad, not this one. Several meshes in the game already use this material shading effect, such as Frost Atronach and several frozen water blobs such as the frozen ice or frozen swamps in Hjallmarch.

Gamwich, Rustic Soul Gems used as base textures for MLP functionality. Texture used with permission.

Obviously any other mod that changes the soul gem in any way (especially its appearance) will likely conflict with this mod.

Ported from the original Oldrim mod here: This update not only is an official port to Skyrim Special Edition but comes out of the box using Gamwich's Rustic Soul Gem textures as a basis. Additional color enhancements were done, such as flecks of green in the yellow Common Soul Gem.
Multilayer Parallaxing (or MLP for short, yes I know what else that stands for, it stopped being funny in this mod's dev period) is not Parallax Bump Mapping, but a different parallax effect. To understand what it's doing, you should familiarize yourself with just what parallaxing is (
Multilayer Parallaxing adds a subsurface texture that appears to be "inside" the geometry, parallaxing back and forth as your viewpoint upon the geometry surface pans about. Other effects like refracting and scaling are also options within the mesh's material settings. If you play Dragon Age Inquisition, the frozen lakes and rivers and more prominently the Red Lyrium use a more advanced version of this material shader effect. If you played Assassin's Creed Odyssey, several ancient Isu panels (like the Ancient Steles) have this effect too.
It does NOT require ENBSeries to function correctly. Parallax bump mapping is what is broken, not this. Several meshes in-game already use this material shader effect, like the Frost Atronach and several frozen water masses like glacial ice or frozen marshes in Hjallmarch.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
