Skyrim's swimming movements and animations leave a lot to be desired.
This is a swimming animation I made recently as an exercise. There are two variations - kicking and no kicking. Previews are listed below. Click on the link for a better view.
I'm still an animation student, so if you'd like to have any feedback on the animation I'd appreciate it.
Install:
It's a vanilla animation replacer, so plug and play. No need to refresh FNIS.

Here's a swimming animation I made recently as practice. There's two variations--kick and no-kick. Previews are listed below. Click the links for a better view.
I'm an animation student still in my early days so if you have any feedback you want to give on the animation, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
