About this mod Machine translation

More Player Homes has added 5 brand new homes available in Riverwood, Ivarstead, Rorikstead, Shor's Stone and Dragon Bridge. All of this is done via cloud storage (via General Stores), so you never have to leave anything valuable behind.

Requires regular store - automatically categorizes cloud storage resources for packrats SE Convert. Without it, more player houses will crash your game.

This is an updated version of the Oldrim mod I made in 2013. It gets a few polishes like hard-to-miss key locations, extra crafting stations, exterior lighting, and a few other under-the-hood fixtures.

Have you ever been in a village like Riverwood or Shor's Stone and wished you had a place to sleep, a place to put your stuff or just more crafting stations? If so, this mod is for you! More Player Homes has added 5 brand new homes available in Riverwood, Ivarstead, Rorikstead, Shor's Stone and Dragon Bridge. All of this is done via cloud storage (via General Stores), so you never have to leave anything valuable behind. Each house also comes with every crafting station you'll need to make the most of all the ingredients, ores, and soul gems you'll be carrying.

As of now, the exterior uses 2 or 3 different models with some changes, while the interior is the same.

Keep in mind that any containers that are not General Stores containers (for example, buckets and dressers) do not have cloud storage and do not share inventory with corresponding containers in other houses.

Each house is locked until the key to the front door is found. Most keys are in the safe at the end of the dungeon near the house, so you don't have to go too far. Specific information on where to find them can be found below, or in the game notes on the table in each house.

Key prompt box location

Riverwood: Embershard Mine - near the back exit

Rorikstead: Trickster's Lair - Gun barrel near the boss's chest

Ivarstead: Hrothgar - to the left of the supply box

Shor's Stone: Shor's Watchtower - Located on the ledge above the top chest.

Dragon Bridge: Falconthal - just in front of the back exit door, can't miss it.

Of course, you can also use the console to unlock doors - there are no tasks or scripts involved in unlocking the house.

Feedback welcome! I only try to make mods - mostly for personal use. If there is a way you can improve your home or fix any problems, please leave a comment!

This is an updated version of an Oldrim mod I made in 2013. It has gone through some touchups, such as harder-to-miss key locations, extra crafting stations, exterior lighting, and some other under-the-hood fixes.

Were you ever in a village like Riverwood or Shor's Stone wishing you had a place to sleep, somewhere to put your stuff, or just more crafting stations? If so, this mod is for you! More Player Homes adds 5 brand new obtainable homes in Riverwood, Ivarstead, Rorikstead, Shor's Stone, and Dragon Bridge. All of them are complete with cloud storage (via General Stores) so you'll never have to leave any of your valuables behind. Every house also comes with every crafting station you need to put all the ingredients, ores and soul gems you're carrying to good use.

As of now, the exteriors use 2 or 3 different models with some variations, while the interiors are identical.

Keep in mind, any containers that aren't General Stores containers (i.e. barrels and dressers) DO NOT have cloud storage and will not share an inventory with corresponding containers in the other houses.

Each home is locked until you find the key for the front door. Most of the keys are found in a strongbox at the end of a dungeon that is near the house, so you don't have to travel too far. Specific information on where to find them can be found below, and also in an in-game note resting on the table of each home.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
