Important things to note!
This MOD is considered complete. It's just a port! Below I will quote their descriptions. 99% of them still apply.
Any bugs should be reported on the LE page! If I have time, I will port an updated version of the mod.
Highly recommend Fuz Ro D-oh-Silent Voice as the voice line is silent and goes through quickly.
Thank you for reading. enjoy your meal! :)

General information
When playing in Skyrim, you'll notice that there are actually many quests to kill a named NPC, or for a named NPC to die in a scripted event. This isn't surprising or interesting in Skyrim, as most problems the Dragonborn face can be solved by killing something. However, some of these named NPCs owned houses that will now remain vacant for the rest of the game. This mod allows players to purchase/acquire some of these houses.
This mod was originally created as an individual to allow me to purchase character houses in certain cities that were not available in the base game (Morthal, Dawnstar), but I later decided to expand it to more houses to support different characters getting different houses each time I play.
Here are the homes currently covered and how to buy them, [HOME] > [REQUIREMENTS. ].
(Note: Once requirements are met, players may have to switch locations to begin the mission)
Tower Cabin (House of Bertild) > Must be a member of the Dawnstar Horde and have completed the Dark Brotherhood side contract in order to kill Bertild.
Vesuius Homestead (Silus Vesuius Museum) > Must be a member of Dawnstar and have chosen to kill Silus in the "Fragments of the Past" mission.
Marshloom (Alvar's residence) > Must be one of Morthal and have completed the "Lie Down and Rest" quest (rescuing Hroggar may cause him to stay in the house with the player character)
Mystery House (Abandoned House)>Complete the "House of Horror" mission.
House of Curiosity (Calixto's House of Curiosity) > Complete the "Blood on Ice" mission (find the real killer).
Reachman's Rest (Nepos' Residence) > Kill Nepos and his servants during or after the "Forsworn Conspiracy" mission, and kill the Madanach in the "Noone Escape Cidna Mine" mission to help Thonar. [Talk to his home Thonar Silver-blood to buy a house]
Riftweald Manor (Mercer Frey's home) > Complete the Thieves Guild's main quest "The Blind Side" and then talk to Maven Black-briar to purchase the house. [Alternatively, you can become the leader of the Thieves Guild to get houses from Maven for free. ]
Once you meet these conditions, just go and talk to Jarl or Stewards about the situation in your respective city and pay for the house.
I chose to only do houses within city limits to ensure immersive safety for the player.
Also, the houses have been spruced up a bit to include some of the amenities that most player houses have (weapon displays, crafting tables), but they don't have the same level of "get what you get now, get what you get later." Basic playhouse. Once acquired by the player, they will all be repaired and the player can make some minor choices.
PS: I'm not the best interior designer, so these homes won't be Elianora-level homes.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
