More Immersive Animation Wings (MIAW)
Anton's Animated Dragon Wings is easily one of my favorite mods. For me, this is a necessary mod to make my Argonians look more like how I imagine the Dragonborn to be. However, in the years I've been using it, one thing has always bothered me:
So I decided to solve it.
With MIAW, your wings retract when you enter the first person. When you get back to the third person, they're going to back off. No visual impairment, no faff required. enjoy your meal!
I use MIAW and Joy of Perspective, which should work with other camera mods. If you find any bugs, please report them in the bug forum. This mod should work for anything.
how
To use, just go to the third one, stretch out your wings, and continue whatever you were doing in Skyrim.
If you are installing on a save with multiple mutagens, I highly recommend getting and equipping the "Ring of the Dodo" as soon as possible without changing your camera status. If you do this, it won't break the game, but every wing you have a decoy on has a chance of starting to respond to your camera status. The ring should be purchasable in the Aura of Solitude, but it's much faster to use the console. Whenever you choose to change wings, you should equip the Dodo Ring. After equipping the ring, "reset" the wing you want by casting once or twice to get a new wing for third person. Simple.

More Immersive Animated Wings (MIAW)
Anton's Animated Dragon Wings is easily one of my favourite mods. To me, it is a necessary mod and makes my Argonians look far more like the Dragonborn I imagine. However, in my years of using it, there is one thing that always bothered me:
So I decided to fix it.
With MIAW, when you enter the 1st person, your wings will retract. When you go back to the 3rd person they will poof back out. No visual obstacles, no need to faff. Enjoy!
I use MIAW with Joy of Perspective, it should work with other camera mods. If you find any bugs then please report them in the bug forum. This mod should work with anything.
The How To
To use, just go to 3rd person, get your wings out and then get on with whatever it is you do in Skyrim.
If you install on a save that has multiple mutagens, I strongly advise getting and equipping the "Ring of Dodo" ASAP, without changing your camera state. It wouldn't be game breaking if you did, but there's a good chance that every wing you had a mutagen for would start responding to your camera state. The ring should be available to purchase at radiant raiment in solitude, but using console is much faster. Equipping the Ring of Dodo should be performed whenever you choose to change wings. After the ring is equipped, "reset" the wings you want by casting once or twice to get the new wings in 3rd person. Easy.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
