Overview
Masser and Secunda now shine. The fuller the moon, the brighter it shines. Halos are more noticeable behind clouds and/or near the horizon.
This is a scriptless mod that works by expanding the texture dimensions of satellites to make room for glow overlays. Normally this results in the satellite being smaller, but the esp file is used to restore the satellite to its original size.
Install
It is highly recommended that you use Mod Organizer II.
compatibility
Not compatible with any other moon mods, but compatible with everything else.
I highly recommend the Yashed guide
Best guide in my opinion! !

Masser and Secunda now glow. Now for Skyrim Special Edition!!
Overview
Masser and Secunda now glow. The fuller the moon, the brighter the glow. Glow is more apparent behind clouds and/or near the horizon.
This is a script-free mod that works by expanding the texture dimensions of the moons to make room for a glow overlay. Normally this would result in smaller moons, but the esp file is used to restore the moons back to their original sizes.
Installation
Mod Organizer II highly recommended.
Compatibility
Not compatible with any other moon mods but compatible with everything else.
I highly recommend Yashed Guide
The best guide in my opinion!!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
