Animals are not monstersSE
I've recreated this mod from scratch for the special edition :)
This mod edits the AI data of hostile animals to make them behave more like animals and less like monsters. Typically, an animal's warning radius is approximately 5 times its attack radius, and fighting to the death is not guaranteed. Often, a few swats on an animal are enough to change its eating habits. The goal of this mod is to give you more options when working with animals and give you a more realistic life experience. You no longer need to kill every predator that can see you. Until they're dead, wolves can no longer throw themselves at themselves unconsciously. This mod is also very lightweight. It can be moved more or less anywhere in your load order and should be compatible with basically everything ~_ ^

This mod edits the AI Data of hostile animals to make them behave more like animals and less like monsters. In general, animals will have a warning radius approximately 5 times larger than their attack radius, and are not guaranteed to fight to the death. Often, bashing an animal a few times is enough to get it to change it's mind about eating you. The goal of this mod is to provide you with more options when dealing with animals, as well as an experience that feels more true to life. No longer will you have to slay every predatory animal that can see you. No longer will wolves throw themselves at you mindlessly until they die. This mod is also very lightweight. It can go more or less anywhere in your load order, and it should be compatible with basically everything ~_^

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
