Welcome to KR4FT – your handmade storage solution
what is it?
KR4FT is a global or cloud storage model specifically for crafting materials. When you activate a crafting station, KR4FT goes to work, pulling any materials or ingredients you need from storage and making them available for use; then taking them away when you leave the crafting menu. There are other mods that do this, but what sets this mod apart from the others is:
It's fast.
It's very robust.
It deals with multi-purpose ingredients.
It protects ingredients.
It's very easy to configure.
It has the option to restrict where you can access and store ingredients.
It's small.
Require
KR4FT requires the latest versions of SKSE64 and SkyUI (for MCM)
Install
Place the .bsa and .esl (or .esp) into the data folder, launch Skyrim and wait for the MCM to recognize the menu.
configuration
In the left half of the configuration menu are buttons for adding ingredients to each crafting station. The nine production stations covered are:
Alchemy Ingredients - Manage ingredients used by Alchemy Labs
Carpentry Ingredients - Managing Ingredients for Use with the Hearthfire Carpenter Bench
Cooking Ingredients - Manage ingredients used with cook pots and spits
Enchanting Ingredients - Manage ingredients for use with Arcane Magicians
Milling Ingredients - Manage ingredients used with Grain Mills (yes, I made a separate category for this.)
Smelting Ingredients - Manage the ingredients used by the smelter
Smithing Ingredients - Manage ingredients for use with Forges and Skyforge
Tanning Ingredients - Manage ingredients used with tanning racks
Tempering Ingredients - Manages ingredients used by Armor Workbenches and Grindstones
Protected Ingredients - Ingredients added to this list will not be available when you craft them, nor will they be stored (they will remain in your inventory).
Each of these lists already contains the ingredients for its crafting station for any vanilla Skyrim, Dawnguard, Dragonborn, and Hearthfire recipe. If you want to know what ingredients are on the list, check out the readme page. Clicking one of the buttons opens a container where you can add or remove ingredients to use at that particular crafting station. When the container is closed, the items inside are added to the ingredient list. Additionally, any items you put inside the container will be returned to your inventory (obviously, any items you take out of the container will be deleted). The number on the right is how many ingredients are in that container and added to the ingredient list. If the container is empty, no number is displayed.
Note: "Protected ingredients" are a special case. This is to protect the ingredients you want to set aside for the task (for example, fire salt). These ingredients are removed from the player's inventory when you activate a crafting station and returned when you leave the crafting menu. Additionally, if any of these protected ingredients have been stored, they will also be put on hold.
The right half of the menu is filled with maintenance, configuration, and uninstall options.
maintainance
Open Storage Container - Access the container that holds all your ingredients when not in use.
Store all ingredients - Transfer all known ingredients (except protected ingredients in inventory) to storage containers.
Options
Enable KR4FT - Enable or disable KR4FT.
Restricted Mode - When enabled, stored ingredients are only available in cities, towns, and player homes. When disabled, these ingredients can be used at any crafting station. Increased carry weight when crafting - Increases player's carry weight to over 100,000. This eliminates over-encrypted spam.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
