Here’s a little but great one from Michael from GamerPoets

Version 1.1-SE

Change/Fix

  • Moved to SSE with permission from Dark Dominion.

Important tips:

This mod is required for SKSE64 and MCM menus (SkyUI 5.2SE).

Incompatibility issues:

Any mod that modifies hudmenu.swf/hudmenu.gfx files

As long as a change is made in the map.swf, the colored markers will be fine

The compass markers are still in the hudmenu file, so colored compass markers are not an option.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: How can I move elements in the HUD faster?

A. Press. key on your keypad and it will change the steps from 0.5, 1.0, 10.0 units

Q: Is there a way to save a preset for use on other characters?

Answer: Yes, using the FISSES optional file

Q: My computer does not have NumPad, can I still use this mod?

A. Yes you can, but you won't be able to customize the HUD as intneded.

Optional files:

  • FISS/FISSES compatibility to save settings

Install

Use Mod Manager (Vortex, NMM, MO...)

Alternatively, download and place the .esp and .bsa files in the Skyrim data folder.

If you are also installing any optional modification files, please copy these files to the Skyrim data folder, preserving the file structure.

usage

This mod uses fixed keys to edit the HUD, these keys are located in the NUMERIC PAD of the keyboard (NUMPAD)

If you don't have NUMPAD on your keyboard, you won't be able to use this mod correctly.

I've defined a predefined PRESET that you can use if you don't want to mess with every HUD element yourself. Just go to the menu and select the LOAD PRESET option.

Some other options are self-explanatory and located in the MCM menu, such as transparencies and selectable variations of HUD elements.

To enter EDIT MODE on your keyboard (remember all keys are in NUMPAD. Also this is the only key that can be customized in the MCM menu)

To cycle through the elements you want to modify using the / and * keys (previous/next element)

To move an element, use the arrow keys (up, down, left and right. Not the NUMPAD arrow keys)

To SCALE items use the + and - keys

To change the number of INCREASE/DECREASE values, click. Key (values 0.5, 1 and 10 units)

To rotate or change TEXT ALIGNMENT, use the 9-key (some elements support this option, others do not)

To save changes again in NUMPAD and exit edit mode

uninstall

Disable the mod in the game, save the game and delete all files installed by this mod

Reload your game and it should return to normal (vanilla)

compatibility

Gopher's Immersive HUD is highly recommended for additional HUD tweaks, behaviors and toggle options.

And of course there's SkyUI, I don't think anyone should play Skyrim without it.

BUGS / ISSUES

Sometimes when you load up the game and use the alternative sneaking crosshair, you may notice that the crosshair appears even when not sneaking.

To fix this problem you can simply squat and stand up and it will resolve itself.

If for any reason the alternative crosshair does not appear, try re-checking the options on the MCM menu.

Thanks to everyone involved in making this mod, I'm very happy with the result, it's the result of a few weeks, or why not months of hard work using Adobe Flash/Photoshop and Bethesda's Creation Kit.

I hope you enjoy this mod and if you find it useful and you think it's awesome and you want to show your appreciatio …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
