This mod is a tiny ESPFE patch designed to resolve a graphical bug introduced by Majestic Mountains when playing Beyond Skyrim: Bruma. The Majestic Mountains use a new mesh and shader, which will update some Bruma rocks that were having issues with the new shader.

It goes without saying that this mod requires Skyrim: Bruma SE and Majestic Mountains v2.8x

This mod makes edits to the following static variables:

CYRJERRockCliff08GrassSnow01SnowLight(formid xx001644)

CYRFrostCragSpireExtt(formid xx0019EC)

CYRRockAnimalDenSnow01_HeavySN(formid xx07c918)

I couldn't find any other broken mountains, but I probably missed at least one. I would appreciate it if this was done, as would be sent a screenshot with the selected peak in the console (preferably with the More Informative Console installed) so I can quickly resolve this issue.

If you want to fix all the missing parts yourself, open MajesticBrumaMountains.esp in xEdit (it should also automatically load its master). Find the form of the broken static in BSHeartland.esm, right-click and click "Copy as Replacement to..." and select MajesticBrumaMountains.esp. Once copied, you change the DMAT entry (double-clicking will display a drop-down list of all available options) from its original value (SnowMaterialObjectLight1P or SnowMaterialMountain1P) to one of Majestic Mountain's shaders (MountainSnow_MP or MountainSnow_light_MP). This should resolve the issue.

Thanks to the Beyond Skyrim team and T4GTR34UM3R for the basic mod! Y'all rock! :D

if you would like to fix any missing pieces yourself, open up MajesticBrumaMountains.esp in xEdit(it should automatically load its masters as well). look for the formid of the broken static in BSHeartland.esm, right click, and hit 'Copy as override into...', then select MajesticBrumaMountains.esp. once copied, you would change the DMAT entry(double clicking will present a dropdown of all availible options) from its original value(either SnowMaterialObjectLight1P or SnowMaterialMountain1P) to one of Majestic Mountain's shaders(either MountainSnow_MP or MountainSnow_light_MP). this should remedy the issue.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
