Patch collection for large villages with mixed water plants

3410/5000 Continuing my "I want to use a unique architecture everywhere, but it requires a lot of compatibility patches" series.... Mixwater Mill! Military is giving Mixwater Mill a little overhaul in his big Mixwater Mill village, and I've put together a bunch of compatibility patches for things you need in your loadout order. This one is fairly minor - there's not a lot to tinker with, and I'm avoiding reinventing the wheel for any tinkering that exists elsewhere. Unless otherwise noted, all patches are marked ESP as ESL.

Accompanying patch notes

Cheesemod for everyone - transfer some added cheese to fit the new interior. Last checked against version 1.0

Enhanced lighting and FX - only one patch this time, due to having a new building and wanting to keep the lighting mood consistent across all scenes

them. Forward any conflict that makes the large village of Mixwater Mill a winner, transfer the added smoke to suit the new interior, and transfer the door lights as appropriate. Last checked against version 3.06.

Landscape and Water Fixes - Resolved conflicts between records involved by both mods, forwarding ownership changes. Last checked against version 5.3

Lantern for Skyrim II - Forwarded cell settings (mainly water) from Update.esm to match LoS II settings. Additionally, Tamriel Master Lights patches forward light intensity changes to new locations and remove the pegs hanging on them. Last checked against version 2.0

RS Child Overhaul - Make added children work with RS Child Overhaul. I can't seem to get facegen exported so I end up with a bit

Workaround, this child is a clone of another child elsewhere in Skyrim. If I hadn't said anything, you might never have noticed. Last checked against version 1.1.3.

Skyrim's Unique Treasures - Changed placement of objects and chests to match the new interior/exterior. Last checked against version 4.4

Stylish furniture and clutter overhaul - move placed paintings to match the new interior. Last checked against version 1.7

Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition patch - a conflict-resolving patch that forwards some ownership/unit changes. Last checked against version 4.2.3.

Install

Install using the Mod Manager/Organizer or drag and drop loose files into the Skyrim data folder. Patches should set the appropriate master and should be loaded after any mods being patched. The fix in question is for persistent objects, which may need to be resaved.

compatibility

I don't think this will cause any incompatibilities that may exist between the base mods. All moved objects should have been moved to non-overlapping positions. let me know what you hit

Continuing with my series of "I want to run with unique architecture everywhere, but that requires SO MANY compatibility patches" series....Mixwater Mill! soldierofwar put together a lovely little overhaul of Mixwater Mill in his The Great Village of Mixwater Mill, and I've put together a series of compatibility patches for things in my load order which needed it. This one is rather small - not that many things which needed to be patched, and I've avoided reinventing the wheel for any patches that exist elsewhere. All patches are ESP flagged as ESL, unless otherwise noted.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
