What's this?

A Mod. obvious. Specifically a mod that unifies keyboard, mouse and gamepad controls. For my own convenience, it also has fixes for just about any control and interface I've managed to squeeze out in the last few years. In addition, it adds a variety of unique features to expand the game's control and customization capabilities, some of which are not even available with the standard toolset. Some features include:

• Turn off the gamepad game so you can switch between gamepad and keyboard/mouse control
• Rebind all default hotkeys, zoom keys, console and ESC menu of the keyboard in the default control menu
• Remove hardcoded keys for F12, Quick Load/Quick Save and Run, freeing up 4 additional default keys
• Allows any possible default key function to be rebind to keyboard, mouse or gamepad
• Removed the default gamepad keys for the preference menu and 2 default hotkeys
• Replaced D-Pad button with zoom and 2 modifier keys to allow full control of any default function and introduce unique features
• Fixed various interface issues related to displaying no function keys/buttons
• Allow more keys/buttons to be used in various menus
• MCM function switches between reverse control modes
• Use gamepad to start/exit Skyrim immediately
• Adjust monitor brightness via gamepad
• Adjust the volume through the game controller
• Fire Steam overlay menu via gamepad
• Use the keyboard with the game controller without turning off the game controller
• Invert controls using customizable MCM hotkeys

The features gained by using the streaming version of HC_360.exe are listed below. Make sure to select only one during installation.

Install?

• Make sure you have the necessary components installed
• Install the mod manually or use the provided Fomod form (Vortex, MO2?)
• Open the Skyrim Special Edition\Data folder (corresponding Vortex/MO2 installation folder) and find HC_360_off.exe (default version) or HC_360_stream.exe (Nvidia live broadcast)
• Right-click the .exe and place it on the desktop, creating a shortcut
• Activate the .exe to ensure all functions are working properly!

How would you allow additional functionality like this?

Use a custom build .exe based on c++ code. In addition to normal mod files, you'll need to manually install it wherever you want and run it with Skyrim.

D-Pad left modifier:

DPL + A = Hotkey 1

DPL + B = Hotkey 2

DPL + X = Hotkey 3

DPL + Y = Hotkey 4

DPL + LB = Hotkey 5

DPL + RB = Hotkey 6

DPL + LT = Hotkey 7

DPL + RT = Hotkey 8

DPL + Start = Favorites Menu

DPL + Back = Console Menu

DPL + LS = Toggle automatic movement

DPL + RS = Toggle always running

D-Pad right side modifier:

DPR + A = Quick Inventory Menu

DPR + B = Quick Magic Menu

DPR + X = Quick Stats (Perks) Menu

DPR + Y = Quick Map Menu

DPR+START = Turn off gamepad (external)

DPR + BACK = start SKSE (external) while Skyrim is not yet running, while Skyrim is running = instant exit

DPR + LB = Reduce monitor brightness

DPR + RB = Increase monitor brightness

DPR + RS = monitor brightness default value

DPR + LT = lower system capacity

DPR + RT = Increase system capacity

DPR + LS = Turn on steam overlay

If you are using the streaming version .exe, the following buttons will change:

DPR + LB = switch camera

DPR + RB = Toggle FPS counter

DPR + RS = Turn Nvidia Experience Overlay on/off

DPR + LT = broadcast pause/unpause

DPR + RT = make screenshots

Make sure you have set default hotkeys in Nvidia Experience!
