describe:
This mods adds the Mithrodin Sword to the game. The sword comes in six different variants, such as one-handed and two-handed versions.
I added the missing scabbard to the one handed sword. This means both weapons now have scabbards. For those who don't like the scabbard, I've added the variant without any scabbard.
The following variations are available:
Mithrodin sword (with scabbard)
Greatsword of Mithrodin (with scabbard)
Mithrodin sword (without scabbard)
Greatsword of Mithrodin (without scabbard)
Mithrodin Greatsword (larger, scabbard)
Mithrodin Greatsword (larger, no scabbard)
I slightly increased the sword's value and I changed the sword's name to better fit the lore.
These weapons are independent. No other items will be overwritten.
The mesh is optimized using Nif-Optimizer. Textures are in 2K. I added appropriate mip maps to all textures.
Weapons can be crafted. I adjusted the receipt compared to the original mod. Beyond that, you need a few more ingredients.

Starting with version 2.0, there are two versions of the mod available:
Craft-only-version:
These items are not added to the level list and can only be obtained through crafting.
Flatten-list-version:
Swords were added to the level list. You can find them all over the world. You have the opportunity to purchase them from merchants. You can get the sword after reaching level 40.
NOTE: Only the two original variants of scabbard and greatsword have been added to the level list. The scabbardless variant and larger variants can only be obtained through crafting. IMPORTANT: If using the horizontal list version, don't forget to make a Bashed Patch.
If you need help making a Bashed Patch, check out: Wrye Bash Installation and Bash Patching Tutorial or the S.T.E.P. Project Wiki - Bashed Patch.
The mod comes with a FOMOD installer. You can choose:
- BSA or loose file
- Level list support or not
- English or German
Clear the mod and check for errors in TES5Edit.

How to install?
Using Mod Organizer 2 (recommended) or Mod Manager, choose your options from FOMOD-installer.
Wrye Bash does not support FOMOD installers. As a WB user, you probably know how to deal with FOMOD.
One possibility I know of is to use MO2 or NMM to pick your poison and repackage the results into a 7zip file. Afterwards you can install the newly created archive in WB.
If using manual installation (not recommended), unzip the archive somewhere and select one of the 2 core folders and one of the 4 ESPs.
Then place the contents of the selected folder in the data folder.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
