About this mod Machine translation

A large number of local radiation missions have been added to Mission Boards with different difficulties and different rewards.

I love MannyGT’s The Notice Board and it became a permanent addition to my loading order as soon as it came out. That being said, there are some limitations that have made it difficult or annoying to use in some games for me. The main problems I'm having are:

Quests are not "localized", so a notification you receive in Whiterun may take you to a dungeon in Winterhold

These quests can sometimes cause problems with restricted NPCs, such as those in guilds or orc fortresses

You cannot exit a mission if you find it too difficult or lose interest

You have no way of knowing what tasks will lead to, or how difficult they will be, until you accept them

Only one instance of each task is active

So, I decided to recreate my own version of Manny's mod from scratch.

You can find Missive Boards in any of the 9 Hold Capitols. There you can find many different Fallout missions of varying difficulty. Quests will only lead to dungeons or NPCs that they own, and these will contain information detailing where the quest is or what needs to be collected. This also means that you can activate the same task on multiple reservations from multiple task providers. Additionally, you can exit the task at any time for any reason by simply reading the message again in your inventory and selecting "Delete" it. If you don't see any of the tasks you want on the mailboard, they will reset after three days and a new set of tasks will be available.

The following tasks may be available on the information board:

Courier Missions - Deliver items to nearby towns, capitols or distant settlements

Gathering Quest - Collect some ingredients or materials for a nearby vendor

Kill Mission - Clear out the inhabitants of a nearby dungeon

Retrieval Missions - Retrieve stolen items for citizens, or valuable artifacts for court wizards

With all the variants and differences kept together, this mod contains a total of 210 Fallout missions.

These signal boards are already compatible with MannyGT's own mods, so they can be used continuously. This mod is also compatible with expanded towns and cities and JK's Skyrim. Mods from other cities or towns may be compatible, and it may be difficult to reach the letter board if you place things on top of them.

Thanks also to Blary for OpenBooks Resource, which I used to create Missive Board.

Here are the tasks described in detail:

express delivery

Courier missions allow you to take an item from one citizen holding the Capitol and deliver it to another resident holding the capitol. The sender offers a gold coin as payment.

After accepting the task, you need to find the sender. They will give you half of the promised payment up front, along with the items to be delivered. Once you are awarded the project, you will have a limited time to complete the delivery or you will not be able to complete the task. The item can also be discarded or sold, so it is possible to lose it. If you manage to deliver the item on time, you will receive the second half of the payment.

If you wish, you can choose to steal a delivery by abandoning the quest by reading and discarding the quest's letter. However, if you do this or otherwise fail the mission, a bounty will be set for you on the sender's hold, and you will be pitted against the sender.

Currently, there are two variations of this mission: Letter Delivery and Weapons Delivery. There are also three difficulty variations. The simplest variant requires you to deliver the item to a small settlement that is retained by the sender. The average variant requires you to transport items to another capitol. The hardest variant requires you to deliver items to small settlements in different cargo holds.

collection tasks

Collection missions are fairly simple; you collect a certain amount of materials for a held vendor and are rewarded with a sum of gold coins and other useful gear. …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
