About this mod Machine translation
Fixed an issue with the message box being invisible when canceling a task.
If you are a VR user and try to read the mission description from Missions in the inventory, you will not see the message box asking you if you want to abandon the mission. As a result, you might end up accidentally canceling the task unintentionally.
The cause of the problem is that the message box is hidden behind annotations in VR. If you move your head over the notes, you can probably see them at a glance and understand what I'm talking about.
So my workaround was to display the message box before the comment opens by simply removing the WaitMenuMode() function from both scripts. The original Missives were designed to wait 2 seconds until the note is fully open and ready for the player to read. Here's a simple fix to avoid problems in VR.
The mod only contains two updated script files so it can be safely installed/uninstalled mid-game. The updated source code is included in the file.
Special thanks to IronDusk33 for including the source code in his mod.

If you are a VR user and try to read quests notes from Missives in inventory, you will not see the message box that is supposed to ask if you want to abandon the quest. So you may end up accidentally cancelling the quest with no intention.
The cause of the problem is that the message box is hidden right behind the notes in VR. If you move your head into the notes, you will be probably able to get a slittle sight of the notes and understand what I am talking about.
So my workaround is to show the message box before the notes are open by simply removing WaitMenuMode() function from two scripts. The original Missives was designed to wait for 2 seconds until the notes are fully open and readable by players. It is a simple workaround to avoid the problem in VR.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
