About this mod Machine translation

Recently foreclosed 2 bedroom space efficient Genie Tower located at the mouth of Lake Ilinalta. Is it so bad that you bought this house?

This guide's tower, standing on the White River, was once the property of a certain Folms Mirel. This Cyrodiilic Dunmer, after completing his Master Exponential Hypothesis at Caldera, worked to extend Chimer's propylon technology beyond the boundaries of Vvardenfell. The Magicians isolated themselves for many years, carving out prototypes after prototypes of similar methods of rapid transportation. He considered it a humanitarian effort, considering how poor the teleportation infrastructure was in neighboring Skyrim. However, before he could bring his archetypal portal exponent to the Arcane University, the Red Year came. Seeing the writing on the wall, Folms packed his bags and left Skyrim, whereupon he fell victim to the anti-elf and anti-mage sentiment that was now becoming commonplace.

After centuries of missed bills and taxes, Jarl Siddgeir has agreed the house is long overdue for a new owner. Recently foreclosed on, The Spire and all of its accommodations are now back on the market.

~Mod Description~

Mirele Bismath is a two-bedroom players' home oriented towards mid-game and post-game. I personally always felt that Skyrim lacked a specific niche: cozy and lovable homes for magic characters that actually looked, inside and out, like a home that a truly honest-to-goodness wizard would use. I've also included a number of modern features to make the house truly adaptable to most players, such as;

An automated sorting system for sorting trash and stolen goods!

For every cooking and crafting workstation, you can have a centralized crafting hub!

A very friendly and fun fast travel alternative for mages who don't have fast travel (i.e. CC survival mode)

Display your items in a variety of formats, including (but not limited to) bookshelves, unique item racks, Dragon Priest busts, mannequins, and more.

Fully compatible with Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions so your family can move in!

Fully compatible with tax modes such as Simple Tax!

Fully navigated and cleaned to ensure compatibility and polish when bringing the family and entourage indoors!

Dramatic lighting that looks great even with vanilla lights! (I haven't tried using ELFX yet, so I hope it looks good too!)

I hope you find a comfortable and welcoming home! This spire was made for my next game, so I designed it to be everything I wanted.

~~position

North of Guardian Rock, on the eastern edge of Lake Ilinalta. You will almost encounter it on your way out of Helgen!

~~compatibility

While I try my best to make the mod in a clean way, not every load order is suitable for this mod. As far as I know, the only really questionable issue is Land Dreughs - Mihail Monsters and Animals (SSE) (mihail Immersive Add-on - Oblivion -). In particular, one of my testers reported that the house was very close to the Land Dreughs' recreated lair. If you choose to use both modes at the same time, I recommend being careful when entering and exiting.

Other than that, I'm not aware of any conflict issues. Obviously editing anything in the same cell will conflict, so pay special attention to that part of Falkreath Hold when editing with mods!

~~credit

This model would not be possible without great work;

Elianora - For her wonderful house model, Halamshiral (a concept I freely plagiarized), and for her fantastic free resource pack!

Mr. Siika, Stroti--their mods are some of the most inspiring, mysterious 3D art ever published for Oblivion, and there's a level of responsibility that compels me to mod them!

Mr. Sica (again!) - A special shout-out goes to the Chateau Seaview Tile, of which the circular tower is the pièce de résistance of this home.

Tamira and the Beyond Skyrim Team - Porting resources in both ways!

Blary - Resources for lots of clutter to make a house feel lived in.

stoverjm - Provides amazing adaptations of Blary's open books.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
