About this mod Machine translation
This mod adds the powerful hammer of Mjolnir, from ancient Norse mythology to Skyrim. The hammer is greatly influenced by the source (Norse mythology). If you're worth it, call in the storm and rise to new heights with that powerful hammer in your hand!
Long ago, a rift opened in Tamriel, and huge explosions punctuated the sky. In the great tear between realities is a mighty hammer that punches a hole in a mountain in the sky. Warriors, treasure hunters and countless others have tried to lift the hammer, but no one dared move. One day, a powerful and learned warrior was able to lift the hammer and regain inner strength. He fell many enemies and few dared to challenge him. Eventually, the warrior disappeared along with the hammer. Imperial scholars of the Fourth Age have reason to believe that the final resting place is where the hammer first struck: the desolate Falls of Barrow. Such legends have been lost to time, and few know of the hammer's existence or even its whereabouts, but the desolate Falls Barrow seems as ripe for anyone to begin a search, especially since its inner sanctum has a hole in the ceiling into which some say the gods can gaze.
The ancient but mighty Mjolnir will no longer grant The Last Dragon's powers when first picked up. It will be heavy and slow, but luckily the hammer isn't the only thing that fell from the Rift a long time ago. Enchanted metals (which the Dragonborn can learn to craft from Tamrielic metals), in addition to the knowledge of thunder and the forging of Daedric and arcane items, can be used to awaken the power of Mjolnir. Mjolnir can smite any enemy hit with his hammer, sending them flying with a powerful swing, granting it the power to briefly lift off once per day (you are still mortal after all, Mjolnir refuses to do this multiple times to be on the safe side), and strike fear into the undead as it deals bonus damage to them.

Long ago, a rift opened in Tamriel and a mighty explosion cracked the sky. Out of this great tear between realities came a powerful hammer that punched a hole in a mountain in Skyrim. Warriors, treasure hunters, and countless others had attempted to lift the hammer but none could even budge the thing. One day, a powerful and learned warrior was able to lift the hammer and restore the power within. He felled many foes and few could dare challenge him. Eventually, the warrior disappeared, along with the hammer. Imperial scholars in the Fourth Era have reason to believe that the final resting place was where the hammer first struck: Bleak Falls Barrow. Such legends have been lost to time and few even know of the hammer's existence and even fewer still know any details of its whereabouts, but Bleak Falls Barrow seems as good a place as any to begin the search, particularly since its inner sanctum has a hole in the ceiling that some say the gods could gaze through.
The ancient but mighty Mjolnir when first picked up will not grant the Last Dragonborn its powers. It will be heavy and slow, but luckily the hammer was not the only thing to fall from the rift so long ago. Enchanted metal (which the Dragonborn can learn to craft with Tamrielic metals), in addition with the knowledge of lightning storms and the smithing knowledge of Daedric and arcane items, can be used to reawaken the power within Mjolnir. Mjolnir can call down lightning upon any foe struck with the hammer, send them flying with a powe …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
