About this mod Machine translation
Many post requests, so here it is. Midsummer is a turf-improved version of Skyrim Special Edition, focusing on shorter stylized flora and saturated summer landscapes.
Features - This MOD is a work in progress
New grass is required for each lay-down (but not much changes at this stage).
Shorter, stylized grass doesn't obscure gameplay.
Saturated summer aesthetic.
please note
This mod currently does not include landscape textures or snow grass. I will create a list of ones to use, but I recommend choosing from Pfuscher's pieces and Tamrielic Textures respectively.
This mod is not very optimized and will eat up your frame rate.
This mod is intended for Rudy ENB/Obsidian Weathers' personal use and I cannot vouch for how it will look on any other settings.
For better optimization and more comprehensive grass modification, I recommend using JonnyWang13's Cathedral Landscapes.
Use the following ini grass settings for best results:
iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure = 15
iMinGrassSize = 60

This mod wouldn't exist without Mindflux's 'Shortgrass', which is the star of the show. Look at his deception.
Install
Use the mod manager like any other mod.
Please uninstall your current Grass mod before installing this lol.
FAQ
Which ENB are you using? The ENB in my video and screenshots is a modified version of Rudy's ENB for Obsidian Weathers, which I also modified for Obsidian Weathers.
What is the texture of that thing in your video? Almost every texture I have has been modified in some way, even if it's just basic HUE/luminance editing. I can provide a more comprehensive list if needed.
My grass looks really bright even in the shade. This could be because you are using a different ENB, have different settings, or don't have an ENB at all. You can adjust the brightness of the grass using ENB in the Grass settings of the ENB menu. If enough people encounter this problem I will create a darker variant.

What ENB are you using bruh? The ENB in my video and screenshots is a modified version of Rudy ENB for Obsidian Weathers, my Obsidian Weathers is also modified.

My grass is really bright even in shadow. This is probably because you're using a different ENB, with different settings, or no ENB at all. You can adjust grass brightness with ENB in the 'Grass' settings of your ENB menu. I will create a darker variant if enough people have this problem.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
