Port from Oldrim to SSE by Jokerine's resort-themed store. Bring the holiday spirit to the sky!
This is a port of Merry Snowberry from the original Skyrim to SSE on J. All credits go to her for designing and implementing this mod. Many thanks for allowing open permission to port it. The original mod can be found here:
Happy Snowberry - Holiday Decorations and Food

Ensure compatibility with SSE. Since this is a port, this mod is provided as-is and will not receive any support from Jokerine.
She has retired from modding and does not plan to update any of her mods anytime soon. I can provide limited support, I did the testing
in my game to make sure it works.
compatibility:
This should be compatible with everything unless another mod takes up the same space as this. Check to make sure. As far as I know, not many mods use that area of Solitude Lighthouse.
Load order:
I would probably let LOOT sort this for you unless you know your load order and experience.
Here's Jokerine's description of Skyrim's original page:

Merry Snowberry is here to celebrate Naturalia! This holiday is traditionally celebrated on the 25th, the Evening Star, so get ready to decorate your home with beautiful items and apparel from these humble little shops.
This mod has been cleaned using TES5EDIT, does not require any DLC, will not change cities, add NPCs or modify scripts. Just like I did with The Golden Rose and The Bloody Tankard, everything is purchasable and can be placed for maximum compatibility; no items are added to level lists or placed around the world. I made it so you can install it and keep it instead of feeling like you should uninstall the mod once the summer and holiday spirit of it wears off ;)
Merry Snowberry is located at Lonely Lighthouse, at the northernmost point of Haafingar Hold. There is no map marker specifically for the small shop, but there is a marker for the lighthouse itself that needs to be discovered before fast traveling.
Inside, you'll meet Kavanagh Honey-Hand and Hulgar Stoneback, a young couple who have started a small business. Havgar to sell food from Kavanagh
Wrapped gifts, some table decorations, candles, spelling and recipe books, holiday trees and hats will be sold for you to place in your home.
The food has your usual effects and I'm afraid I'm not going to make a patch that requires a patch. I've included cooking recipes in case you prefer to cook your own meals. However, I didn't make the gifts and trees easy to groom. Why not? Well, all you can use to make, say, trees, is firewood, and that just doesn't work...
Gifts do nothing, so don't expect to activate them in your inventory and get a full set of Daedric armor! The candles also don't emit light, although they have an animated flame wick. To remedy this, I made a simple, silent variant of the Magelight spell that lasts for 30 days, allows you to place multiple lights, and doesn't require casting magic.
Regarding the trees, I made four variants, a normal one with no decorations, a normal one with a simple circular ornament (based on Meridia's lighthouse model), and the upper one with reconstructed soul gem shards (they point to the large texture Soul Gem, since the original texture was too dark, and one of my personal favorite Dwemers, with a downsized Dwemer Beyblade. I also included a small tree in case you thought the other trees were too big. They didn't have animations; I tried to give them some visual magic effects, but they kept crashing my game, so I gave up on the idea.
With two small exceptions, all items in the mod use vanilla textures to reduce file size, …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
