Melancholy Fantasy is a Skyrim Special Edition ENB preset for those who like harsh and dramatic visuals in dark and sometimes foggy atmospheres without expressive saturation. It's inspired by the amazing Jyggalag versions of The Grim and Somber ENB, as well as old Skyrim versions. So if you liked this preset in older games, you might like this preset in SE. Everything is finely tuned and tested to deliver a great graphics experience with little impact on performance. If you like bright colors, crisp and clear graphics, this mod is not for you, so try my Imaginarium ENB.

Weather Mods: This ENB is specially tuned by Arindel (omega2008) for the mod Skyrim Legendary Weathers. The color palette used in this preset needs to be similar to the original atmosphere of Legends of Skyrim to provide the intended tone and best results to be obtained with this weather mod. Feel free to test with other mods (some saturation may need to be adjusted). So far I haven't had time to make specific versions for other weather systems.

Lighting Mods: The internal setup is based on enhanced lights and FX mods, but maybe others will look good, feel free to try it out. For enhanced light and FX, do not install the "Weather" option, and if you don't like darker interiors, it is recommended not to install the "Intensifier" option as well. It is not recommended to use this external plugin with this preset. IMPORTANT: The Enhanced Lights and FX esp plugins must be below weather mod 1 in the load order!

ENB Helper SE: This is required for several weather settings: ENB Helper SE This is a SKSE64 plugin, so obviously you need to have SKSE64 installed in the game as well. Optional file "Old Skyrim SE Shader Bundle" is very high

Recommended, you can find it on the same page. IMPORTANT NOTE: Once Skyrim SE receives a new update from Bethesda, ENB Helper SE will also need to be updated, so stay tuned. If you update the game without updating ENB Helper SE, the multi-weather feature will not work.

VERY IMPORTANT: Never use PrivateProfileRedirector SE with ENB. It will mess up some ENB settings so you will have wrong visuals and think the ENB is causing the problem. If already used together, remove it and reinstall ENB.

1- In the game launcher, select TAA for TAA

method and disable screen space ambient occlusion (ENB already has a better option).

NMM users: Go to [Documents > My Games > Skyrim Special Edition > Skyrimprefs.ini]

Mod Organizer 2 users: Go to […Mod Organizer2>Profiles>Default>Skyrimprefs.ini]

Find the following line, set it and save it:
