A mask for all kitties! Yes you know who you are! Keep going bro (???) Now converted and optimized for SSE! *Wow*

Listen to my story. This may be our last chance.

So here goes: I started a new character in Skyrim who may or may not be Khajiit - we'll never know. Not you, not me, not anyone. I played it using Heavy Armor as my primary skill (or whatever anyone calls it) and went straight to completing the quest Collarbone Evil.

In short: I finished it, grabbed the helmet, put it on, and was completely disappointed (perhaps more disappointed than I've ever been in my life). I then continued searching on the internet for about 10 minutes and found no information about Khajiit? ... aa, now converted to SSE!

Fen~

Without further ado, I bring the power of 3D modeling and UV MAPPING MAGIC, Kitty Caticus Vile Mask (not the official name (for the standalone version, it may be the official name, but you didn't hear it from me, capiche))! ? ! ? Yes, you get what I mean!

Install

Use a mod manager (NMM, MO, and anything else in that vast space we call "the Universe") or you can use an archive application to unzip the files and folder them into your Skyrim data folder. It’s all up to you, really…???

profit!

Not compatible

Any mod that edits the Clavicle Mask Mask Armor will do

The model can handle textures, although I don't know how that will turn out. O.O there is a small amount of stretching with a vanilla texture here and there. Maybe 4k textures won't look that good, maybe they will look great! I have no idea…

So get this: I start a new character in Skyrim that may or may not have been a Khajiit - we’ll never know. Not you, not me, not anyone. I play through it with heavy armour as a main skill (or whatever people call it) and get to the point of doing the Clavicus Vile quest.

To cut a long story short: I finish it, get the helmet, put it on and get utterly disappointed (more so than ever before in my whole entire life, I might add. Maybe). I then proceeded to search the internet for like 10 minutes and found nothing for Khajiit(s?)...aaand now converted for SSE!

Without further ado, I bring to you, with the power of 3D modelling and UV MAPPING MAGIC, The Kitty Caticus Vile Mask (not official name (possibly official in regards to the standalone version, but you didn't hear it from me, capiche))!?!? Yes, you heard me right!

Incompatibilities

Any mods that edit the Clavicus Vile Masque armour form things

The model works with retextures, although I don’t know how well it’ll end up looking O.O There are slight amounts of stretching here and there with the vanilla texture. Maybe 4k textures won’t look so great, maybe they'll look AMAZING! I dunno…

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
