About this mod Machine translation
describe
Marcus Far-Born is the Knight of the Nine...er, the Knight of the Eight...er, let's say a Holy Knight. He is a northerner, but he lived in Cyrodiil for most of his life until he decided to visit his ancestral homeland in Skyrim. A battle with a troll resulted in him having to recover from his injuries in the Lonely Temple - there's a journal in his inventory if you want to know more. If you want to take him, he is now fully recovered and ready for adventure.
Marcus is almost a literal knight in shining armor. He's polite, respectful, friendly, and will feel sorry if you have to kill some bandits along the way... when he slams his shield in their faces, of course.
feature
Custom speech set with location-aware annotations. Talk to him in town, exploring or relaxing at the hotel - he might have something new to say! His voice is an open source asset from Kikiapplus and Christian Gaughf - see the link in the Credits section.
His own follower system. He ignores your friendly fire and doesn't count against the minion limit, so you can have him tagged along with any other minions you might be using. If you tell him to wait, he will stay indefinitely.
Custom armor, based on the meshes and textures listed in the "Points" section. All armor can be exercised and intoxicated. The armor is in his inventory - he will wear it after you recruit him, otherwise he will be wearing a fancy suit. If you want to change his "civilian" gear, use a follower management mode like Follow Follower Tweaks.
Daily schedule. He trained in the Castle Dour courtyard in the morning, wandered around the temple in the afternoon, visited the Winking Skeever in the evening, and then returned to the temple for the night. If you fire him, he will return to solitude and resume his daily routine. To get him to stay, use my home is your home or just tell him to wait instead of firing him.
If he gets lost, a teleportation spell can bring him back. To obtain this spell, look for the "Call Marcus" spellbook in Marcus' inventory.
Location
Morning: Castle Dour courtyard, hacker training dummy.
Afternoon: Inside the temple. He might be near the shrine, or relaxing upstairs - where he sometimes goes for a bite to eat.
Evening: Go to Winking Skeever for a drink or two.
Night: Return to the temple.
Some of these places can get crowded, so if you can't find Marcus, you can always use the console to get the "Summon Marcus" spellbook and summon him that way. But, to be honest, I couldn't find any issues during my testing.
other
Marcus uses a Sundracon compatible body. See the Points section for more information.
Your athlete character can wear Marcus' armor. It works for both male and female characters.
He's a classic swordsman and tank in heavy armor, he can also heal himself a little, but that's not his main focus. (His .esp file was actually called "Therapist," but that's no longer correct. I started out wanting to make a therapist, then scrapped the idea, but renaming the .esps was a pain.)
He has the following perks: Light Foot, Shield Wall (level 2), Power Slam, Weapon (level 2), Blade (level 1).
He is balanced with the player and has no minimum or maximum level restrictions.
Currently, there are no marriage-related lines in his voice, so he is not a poor person. Kikiapplus mentioned possibly building a marriage add-on in the future, so hopefully one day I'll be able to make Marcus a marriage prospect! Using a mod manager

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
