Making Marcurio look similar to Dorian from Dragon Age: Inquisition.
"These forgotten people don't even have the decency to dress up."
-Marcurio
-illustrate-
Inspired by this Oldrim mod, I edited Marcurio to look similar to Dorian Pavus from Dragon Age: Inquisition. I don't think that mod looks much like him, especially his mouth, so I wanted to make my own version. Considering Marcurio's personality, his class and being an Imperial, I thought it would be a good fit for the character.
The CC slider in Creation Kit is more limited than the actual game, which is why I said it looks "similar". I also didn't use any external assets (hair model) since I don't use those in the game. I kept his default hair because that's closer to Dorian's face than any other default hair without hair.
-Notes-
The character modules I used in the screenshot are: SkySight Male Skin, Beard (older version with softer texture) and Eyebrows. The replacement textures for Oldrim's beard and eyebrows work well in SSE.
I exported the face in CK so there should be no blackface bugs. Coverage if requested.

I was inspired by this Oldrim mod to make an edit of Marcurio to look similar to Dorian Pavus from Dragon Age: Inquisition. I also don't use any outside assets (hair mods), since I don't use those in my game. I kept his default hair since that is closer to Dorian's look, with hair off the face, than any of the other default hairs.
-- Notes --
The character mods used my in screenshots are: SkySight Skins for Men, Beards (an older version for softer texture) and Brows. The replacer textures for Beards and Brows from Oldrim work fine in SSE.
I exported the face in the CK, so there should be no dark face bug. Overwrite if asked.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
