describe

First of all, this is not originally my mod. This is a port of Skyrim's mod that can be found here (see credits below):

"Dragon Cliff Manor" is a player's home mod, built near the foot of the Throat of the World. The easiest way to reach the house is probably to start at Hilgrund Tomb and head southeast towards the top of the hill. You should come across a log spanning a waterfall and a small bend. Look up and you should see the house. You can also get to the house from Ivarstead. The path is drawn on the map in the image.

feature:

Completely NAVMESH'ed as a follower so they can follow you

Crafting Stations: Blacksmith, Alchemy, Charming, Smelting, Tanning, Cooking

16 armor models

Over 30 weapon racks

8 display cabinets

Tons of weapon patches (all aesthetically placed for aesthetic purposes)

Library with bookshelves and shelves

Chef (just for fun)

Bedroom with pool

Boxes are located near stations, hospital beds and offices/libraries

Teleport orbs and ladders to make traveling faster

Hearthfire families support up to two children and one spouse

For the original author, this was a family project, with the goal of building a larger themed house in a location that would fulfill Bethesda's original epic world design strategy. Although this home uses the very familiar Whiterun theme, the original author tried to create a unique layout that is large, open, and immersive. This is their first time using CK for modification.

I, TechAngel85 (Tech), took over this mod and ported it from classic Skyrim because I found it quite likeable. However, from my perspective, it's really in an unfinished state. My goal is to clean up the original content while fixing problems and expanding on the original author's work. Once I feel like I've achieved (mostly) my goals, I'll release Dragoncliff v1.0. Until then, users should expect the mod to be changed and updated. This means I can't guarantee that it will continue to run on the saved game when updated. So if you don't want to take the risk, I recommend tracking the mod and waiting for v1.0 to be released.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
