About this mod Machine translation
New replacement for the Necromancer's Amulet.
What's this?
Replacement for the Necromancer's Amulet with unique new model and textures.
Skyrim Legend Edition
information
The Necromancer's Amulet is an ancient and powerful artifact of Manimarch, and is an optional reward for the Blood on Ice quest in Skyrim.
Amulet designs from The Elder Scrolls games, spin-offs, and in-game information are referenced and inspired this mod.
This mod turns an oval vanilla amulet into an octagonal pendant with a jade skull attached to it in a basin.
There are two glowing eyes embedded in the skull, and a version without these eyes is also available.
Fragments of the Black Soul Gem are set in metal rings and set in pools of water.
The metal base is as dark as ebony and ornately engraved.
The pendant is engraved with calendar runes clockwise.
The chain segments are shaped like bones.
Compatibility, installation, uninstallation and load order
There are two main replacement files, one with glowing eyes and one without. Textures are mainly a combination of 2k and 1k.
Each master file contains loose files with meshes and textures and no plugins. If there are no conflicts, they can be installed/loaded anywhere.
If there are any conflicts, please load/install this mod after the other conflicting mods.
Any conflicts or incompatible mods can be reported in the comments.
Optional files contain an esp (tagged esl) that can be installed/loaded anywhere in the list of installed files (related to some mod managers) and in the plugin load order.
To uninstall any version of the mod, simply delete the added files.
Optional files
An optional file is provided that does not modify the vanilla amulet, but instead adds the new model as a standalone unenchanted amulet called the "Black Worm Amulet", which can be added via a console command (ID: FE000800) or by using the AddItemMenu mod.
This file shares the same texture file as the main replacer, and the main replacer (either version) and the optional files can be installed together in any order without worry.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
