Removed Requiem's spell selection after taking the Magic perk.
Request-Never again
*This is my mod port of Requiem in Oldham. No changes are required for Requiem 3.4 in either version*
This is a simple patch for Requiem that removes the Spellchoices system where you can learn certain spells by taking Novice, Apprentice, Journeyman Expert and Master overtime at each magic school.
Why? I don't like the idea of spells that automatically charge perks. If you use Spell Research and/or Better Spell Learning, you may or may not find this method useful. Find those spells as loot and place them in a dank cave, or buy them at the nearest retailer (assuming they are available for purchase). It simply removes the spell selection effect from the associated perk. The description can also be edited to remove any reference to gaining spells from perks. Compatible with 2.0 (probably 1.9.4 if these privileges don't change).
Optional Lite version that provides novice level spells but removes them from this level.

REQUIEM - SPELLCHOICES BEGONE
*This is a port of my mod for Requiem in Oldrim. No changes needed for Requiem 3.4 in either version*
This is a simple patch for Requiem that removes the Spellchoices system whereby you can learn certain spells upon taking either the Novice, Apprentice, Adept Expert & Master perks in each magic school.
Why? I don't like the idea of receiving spells automatically for taking perks. If you use Spell Research and/or Better Spell Learning you might find this useful... or not. Find those spells as loot, laying in some dank cave or buy them at the nearest stockist (assuming they are buyable). It simply removes the Spellchoices effect from the relevant perks. Also edits the descriptions to remove any reference to gaining spells from the perks. Compatible with 2.0 (and likely 1.9.4 if those perks haven't changed).
Optional Lite version that offers the spells for Novice level, but removes them from levels beyond that.
Requires: Requiem
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
