This is an SSE port of my kitty Ma-Rakha-Khajiit Boy with open permissions (and security clearance from tktk1) This mod allows players to adopt a Khajiit Boy on hearthfire
I didn't make this MOD! I simply threw it away! Please go to the original author's page to support their work!
I'm porting from the original mod to SSE (see here: =description) and apart from the suggestion to seek permission from Tktk1 there are also open permissions (since it uses his facegen) to the files from his mod pretty khajiit, which I've got permission to use (see screenshots section)
Another note is that I had to make some edits in CK to address his gear issue and fixed it by assigning him a new gear
There are two files: the Uta version (changed his fur to black, renamed him Uta, and gave him the Dark Brotherhood robes) and the 'Original version' (almost identical except changing his clothes to the Thieves Guild outfit, which I chose just because the Uta version has the Dark Brotherhood robes and I like the dynamic)
I made him default to a 'cartoon' face (so cute!) and I also used a 'non-alternative' file, so Samuel is still Samuel!
I can't find anything that fits well outside of these nice looking things (neck seam)
Also know any khajiit/clothes retexturing mods you'll be using (I recommend MONSTERaider's Masculine Khajiit and Gamwich's Rustic Clothing)
Note that if I were asked to take it down with tktk1 or hl84 then I would, as they have the authority to do so!
Compatible with simple children as long as you allow simple children to override (at least this is the case with Mod Organizer) this mod, otherwise Samuel will be faced with 'blackface bugs'
I'm not sure about other kids overhaul mods
Description from the original mod page (with grammar and spelling edits) Know that any links posted are for Oldrim and not SE:
Ma'Rakha is......
Ma'Rakha is Riften's child. Around Ratway is his best playground,
at present…
Ma'Rakha's mother worked for the Honorhall Orphanage, but Skyrim's harsh weather and people's discrimination made her weaker and weaker from which she could not recover.
But luckily, Ma'Rakha is such a cheerful and intelligent boy that he has grown into the sweetest kid, even though he has been lonely even among the Nordics.
He is a perfect child. The rumor that he learned his pickpocket skills from highway thieves was nothing more than a mistake.
Ma'Rakha has hope. This is a very simple but sincere hope. He wanted a family, a real family, that could be with him and love him forever. A big house and nice clothes are not an attractive proposition to him because you are the one he really wants to have.
"Can you be my family...?"

This is a simple mod that replaces Samuel, one of the orphans at the Riften Orphanage, with a Khajiit boy named Ma'Rakha, allowing players to adopt a child of the kahjiit race for the Hearthfile DLC.
After completing the first Dark Brotherhood quest, you can adopt him.
I highly recommend using the cover khajiit texture mod (
Unlike other children, he can be a good follower if you are using the mod called "Make Any Child Your Follower"
His level will reach 80%
He loves you so much that even if you sin, He will not hold it against you
He's very good at locking in
He is good at stealth and one-handed weapons
He can use dueling weapons
He prefers light armor
He's a sweet kid, so he won't attack anyone until he's hit.
for optional files
-cartoony face patch
It makes his face more cartoony and cute.

Added non-versioned version so Ma'Rakha does not replace Samuel
You can still meet Ma'Rakha at Riften Orphanage
To be on the safe side I highly recommend installing this mod after your first visit to Riften Orphanage.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
