Why separate pages? Isn’t it already there that you uploaded to SSE a while ago?

Because this is a standalone color version. Blue-silver, gray-gold, purple-silver, red-gold.

Additionally, the recipe was modified (mercury replaced silver in the original version). Some people prefer to use the original version.

So... can I install this and keep the original SSE CBBE version?

This version also contains the original textures... so if you decide to use this, please uninstall the original SSE CBBE version first as the BodySlide files are exactly the same. The difference lies in the modified plugins and gender textures.

As mentioned above, this is the CBBE SSE BodySlide version of the armor.

I deleted it. nif files containing the names "unp", "unpb" and "cbbe" as they are no longer needed (I edited. esp and bodyslide will refer to files without these tags).

How do I make this armor?

You should have received an initial quest token (look for it in the Miscellaneous section of your quest log). Locate obstructions near the missing tongue by following objective markers. After completing this small quest, you will receive the Chaos Forged spell.

If for other reasons the task marker doesn't appear, double-check your logs and highlight/unhighlight the task to make the marker reappear.

Once you use the crafting spells you learned from the Holy Book, you'll see 3 categories: Daedric, Leather, and Jewelry.

Daedric - Contains all the "hard goods" of armor, such as breastplates, gauntlets, boots, weapons, etc.

Leather - The "soft items" that comprise all armor - such as hoods, cloaks, tassels, etc.

Jewelry - Contains enchantable jewelry for all armor.

Does this mod require the Daedric perk?

No, you can craft all items without the perks, but if you want to take advantage of the 2x tempering buffer, you'll want to get the Dyksmithing perk.

Is this armor just for vampires?

While it's designed specifically for vampires, you don't actually need to play as a vampire to use it. Although the armor itself is "vampiric" in that it drinks blood to gain strength.

Why do some armor parts have no armor value?

They do have armor value. This is a percentage-based armor boost that increases based on the number of additional pieces of equipment you have (up to 3 stacking percentages). Building up your base armor will also add extra protection.
