Here are the original notes (click here for the original mod page):
If you've ever explored the bandit-infested Silent Moon camp, you probably did so at a curious forge at the top of a long set of stairs known as the Moon Forge. A nearby book, "Notes on the Forge of the Moon," describes some of the unique properties of weapons crafted at the forge. Unfortunately, this forgery does not possess these extraordinary qualities in the released game. This mod restores the legacy of Moon Forged to its rightful glory. As stated in the "Moon Forgery Notes", forged weapons will now be imbued with a charm that says "When the moon is out, absorb health points".
------------------------
Significant changes
------------------------
-The Moon Forge will use the Lunar Siphon to absorb magic to create the weapons crafted here.
- Enchantments now absorb health, as opposed to previous enchantments' dangerous effects.
- The old instance of the Silent Moon enchantment is now replaced by the Moon Siphon.
-The enchantments of all Lunar Siphon items are invalid. If you already have the Silent Moon Enchantment, this mod does not unlearn it but replaces it with Lunar Siphon.
Starting from 2.0
- Lunar weapons no longer require soul gems to charge; they are the power of the moon.
- Lunar Forge can only be used to create lunar weapons when the moon is out. (After 9pm and before 5pm)
-When the moon goes out, the Lunar Forge will glow with a soft blue glow.
Starting from 2.1
-Fixed a bug where quickly leaving the Moon Forge would cause the game to freeze upon returning to Silent Moon Camp.
------------------------
compatibility
------------------------
This mod should be compatible with most other mods. Any mod that changes the previous Silent Moon enchantment enchantment or changes the weapons that use it may conflict. This mod is incompatible with any other mods that change forging or weapon recipes (as most mods are overridden by this mod). New forges created by other mods will not contain any standard weapons unless they override their recipes, but overriding the weapon recipe will cause the weapon and its equivalent to appear in the Lunar Forge. Mods that introduce new weapon recipes can still be crafted at the Lunar Forge, but will not have the charm of Lunar Siphon.
------------------------
Install
------------------------
- Extract "Lunar Forge Patch 2.1.zip" in the Skyrim data folder. The file path for most users is: "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\". This folder will also include Skyrim.esm, Update.esm and some *.bsa files.
- Launch Skyrim Launcher and click "Data Files".
- Make sure "Lunar Forge Patch" is selected.
- Run the game and enjoy!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
