"BlockSteal lite" functionality without SKSE plugin - only Papyrus script. It can be used regardless of whether you use SKSE or not. Fully compatible with Pack Books Sometimes. This mod will prevent you from stealing things. When you try to steal something, nothing happens. To steal items you must enter stealth mode and then you can steal items.

The reason for creating this mod is to avoid dependence on SKSE.

With SKSE, this mod will block all your stealing attempts without being sneaky:

-Items you can carry

-Plants and trees

• Containers (small things, wardrobes, etc.)
• Horses.

Without SKSE (or with a very old version), this mod does all the same things, with the added limitation of "sometimes picking up books":

It will not only block attempts to commit theft, but also certain attempts to obtain property that is not stolen from others; these situations are rare (the most likely scenario - at your friend's house).

All tackling attempts are accompanied by sound effects, just like in the new game and in existing saves.

compatibility

Regardless of the launch order, this module is fully compatible with Sometimes Pick Up Books.

This module is not compatible with BlockSteal lite - prevent accidental pickup.

This mod is not compatible with the "Simple Book Pickup - Weightless Books" option.
