About this mod Machine translation

Super lightweight model, simply recolored and enhanced with vanilla lighting.

The Cathedral Project is a comprehensive visual overhaul with virtually no performance cost while maintaining high compatibility. Luminosity is the first mod of the project.

describe

This mod basically recreates the vanilla tones using an ELFX inspired palette while retaining the vanilla signposts (lighting strategy). It doesn't move or add new bulbs, so you don't have to worry about flashing discos and scripts to mitigate the problem. Brightness applies to gameplay and immersion. Light bounces off the environment to fill space, so don't expect pitch black dungeons. This mod retains the vanilla light logo released and is designed to help guide you through interior design. Additionally, it is all based on a set of image space settings (i.e. contrast, brightness, saturation), making it an ideal indoor lighting mode for ENB creation as it provides exceptional consistency. In the version in the cathedral project it is also possible to adjust the interior brightness to your liking.

compatibility

This mod will only override vanilla records; cells, lights, lighting templates, (indoor) weather. Therefore, it is technically compatible with any Skyrim-compatible mod. However, in order for you to appreciate the changes this mod makes, it should load after all other mods, unless the mod in question explicitly says to load after the lighting mod. For example, mods that modify specific lighting, such as flashlights, magelights, or spell lighting should be loaded afterwards.

Sample loading sequence:

-Update.esm

-Dawnguard.esm

-Hearthfires.esm

-Dragonborn.esm

-Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.esp

This mod is designed to be used with Obsidian Weather and Seasons. In the screenshot, the dungeon uses T4's underground texture. Results will obviously vary with ENB or other weather patterns.

Cathedral Project is a comprehensive visual overhaul that comes at almost no performance cost while maintaining high compatibility. Luminosity was the first mod built for this project.

Description

This mod essentially recolors the vanilla lighting with an ELFX inspired palette while preserving the vanilla signposting (lighting strategy). It does not move or add new bulbs, so you do not have to worry about flickering discos and scripts to alleviate the problem. Luminosity is meant for gameplay and immersion. Light bounces off the environment to fill space, so don't expect pitch black dungeons. This mod preserves the vanilla light sign posting which is meant to help guide you through interiors. Furthermore, it is all built on a single set of imagespace settings (ie contrast, brightness, saturation), making it an ideal interior lighting mod for ENB creation as it offers phenomenal consistency. In the version within Cathedral Project, there is also a power to adjust interior brightness to your liking.

Compatibility

This mod solely overwrites vanilla records; Cell, Light, Lighting Template, (Interior) Weather. For this reason, it's technically compatible with any mod that is compatible with Skyrim. However, in order for you to appreciate the changes that this mod makes, it should be loaded after all ot …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
