describe
Whether you're testing mods (like replacers), want certain weather when shooting on screen, starting a new game but feel the need to start with a useless adult that seems to have woken up 2 days ago for the umpteenth time or you just don't want to get stuff manually... there are many reasons why bat files are really useful. I use them all the time and then it happens to me and I just want a bunch of...I mean a lot of bat files and maybe at least one other person as well. That's it. Just a lot of bat files.
There are so many, you're unlikely to be as crazy as me and actually want to put them all in your Skyrim folder, but there should be a few you'll find useful. What's more, they should make it easier for you to create your own bat files. Do you just want a bat file to give you ebony mail because you're doing a retexture for it? Super simple and barely worth the inconvenience. Just open Ebony.txt, delete the other lines, save and choose a short name you can easily remember for the file, and place it in your Skyrim folder.
Hey, I know the game has been around for 20 years or whatever and I'm late to the game but hey, two things:
1.) Abacus
2.) Better Super Crazy is really totally overdue...not...I think.
Require
Skyrim... I mean if you can get these to work in another game, you're awesome. You might as well be David Blaine or Chris Angel, which means you scare me.
Healthy self-confidence...no need to use it, but I'd love it if you had it.
Abacus...come on. Even if they are no longer with us, I will beat a dead horse.
Install
Download manually. Open the file named 0 File List, see the list of all bat files (and what they do) and select the ones you want and put them in your:
Steam - steamapps - common - Skyrim folder.
To use the files in the Skyrim folder, hit the "~" key, which I call the curve key (please don't f*$%ing judge me) and
Then type batman I'm sorry, I meant bat <filename> without extension.
For example, if you wanted to use the file that provides all Ebony armor, you would hit the curve key "~" and type Bat Ebony
FAQ.
Some say you are a reckless adapter and possibly a stain on the community because of your wacky antics and unhealthy obsession with the word "abacus." How would you describe your behavior and respond to such criticism?
OK, again my imaginary legal advisor advised me that it would be best not to raise the issue at this point. Thanks.
abacus.

Arron Dominion - certainly not involved in the script here, but I'm still grateful for the help he's always been willing to provide
Quotation/Offer.
CrazyLion, Akarsil, Maymay, TREEEPS! , Mattiewagg - In no particular order, I hate, these are the ones I always annoy myself with every time I have some free time...or even if I don't. Thank you for putting up with me and inspiring me.
Gohper, Darkfox127, DougHamil. They provide me with a solid foundation to build upon as I improve. I know this isn't really a pattern, but there are still some that I try to post on a regular basis no matter what I post.
Arthmoor -Alternate Start - Live Another
Life is still saving the faces of babies everywhere. Can't imagine testing anything in Skyrim without LAL.
You - I know I've thanked you because you're obviously part of the community, but, I'm still doing it. Deal with it because, as always, you don't even have to be here, but here you are. I thank you very much whether you agree with me or not.
Bethesda - Creation Suite I don't always get along with. Some aspects of it are downright irritating, including the inability to resize windows. But at least we have a very powerful editing program to work with... unlike some other video game makers like Biow.
My friends, family and loved ones - they really can't tell you what a mod or a bat file is, but they still support me and I never would have don …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
