lost mask
Can you find all the lost masks?
Are you a scavenger? Hunter or explorer? Do you like wearing the skulls of your enemies? up to you
Implement your requirements through simple role play
Offers tons of customization for your characters/followers
What's this
Based on the skeletons of animals, creatures, humanoids, and beasts that exist in the game
23 unique headgear. Mask, helmet and glasses (glasses can only be made by hand, six pairs can be made. The recipe must be found)
These items are located indoors, in remote but not remote locations, NPCs and some journals or notes
These provide a lot of customization for players/followers
They can be used with helmets/caps, hair/beards, and some other helmets. You can place up to 3 headsets at the same time (it's never a nightmare)
Craftable items require recipes (some don't). All items are charming. Inexpensive, token armor. Some have survival keywords.
Decided to implement legacy mod with dynamic characters.
I didn't make the model (see below for changes).
Thanks to MyFirstPony, User_2966462, Ghosu, ARYANtheAG, cryptoporus, mannygt, and PROMETHEUS_ts for letting me use their assets.
Things to note
Have thoughtful connections between items and their placement (spoilers in the sticky article)
Most are quest-related, whether it's a location, an NPC, or the likelihood of being surrounded by enemies. You'll naturally find them in your adventure by performing quests
You'll find difficulty locating them, that is, they're not difficult to find, but they're easy to miss if you're distracted.
(There is no skull behind the bushes)
No secret boxes or vendors hoarding them
No secret overwhelm
There is no task pointer on them
There is no level item and it cannot be found in the chest
Tune into your role-playing instincts
what are they
Add some flavor to events and tasks.
There are 15 masks
Masks cannot be made
There are 7 helmets (some are craftable, some are not craftable) and 7 glasses (craftable)
Craftable items are not in world space. The recipe is
handmade
The corresponding recipe must be included in the inventory to craft the item (the option will not appear)
All items are seducable and have less armor than level 15: Iron Helm. Except for a few (max ~23)
Recipes have special requirements, and they send the Dragonborn on a wise hunt for ingredients
It's not as easy to craft as using 1 leather, on the other hand they are not very dirty either
The recipe is there too

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
