Realistic cold reissue presets for use with Rudy enb, Tamriel climate and enhanced lighting and FX
Reset presets I use with Rudy enb COT and ELFX. You can try with another enb or without enb if you want, don't complain if it looks different.
Update: Added new pictures, only retweeted + compare pictures with vanilla, only retweeted and retweeted with Rudy
Install
- Go to the Rudy enb page to find Rudy enb, install the COT and ELFX versions, instructions can be found on the Rudy enb page. (If you already have enb installed and want to use it, or if you don't want to use enb, skip this step)
- Download forward and install (should be fairly easy as it's an installer, just follow the steps) After installing forward, go to the skyrim root directory (the directory with SkyrimSE.exe) and put the photorealistic cold.ini there. After that you have to use the recolor shader from my overlay root
(You must do this for the effect to work)
- Launch your game and open the reset menu (press shift + f2) select my presets (press the down arrow in the top right corner of the home page), after that it should load Real Cold if you have done everything correctly. DONE

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
