Some quest rewards are equal. This means that some unique items have different versions. The game gives you one of these versions based on your character's level. This can be an issue for your gameplay, as if you want to get the rewards of the best version, you'll have to wait to reach a certain level to start certain missions, which can prevent the natural flow of the game. Additionally, when you get a version with a level that's unique, you'll stick with it forever, even if there are better versions.
This mod provides a solution to this problem, and even a very user-friendly solution. As you advance to levels where you get better versions of items, it allows you to get better versions of level-unique items. If you want to know more about what this mod does and how it works, please keep reading as you will find my more detailed description of this mod.

Better MessageBox Control - This mod greatly improves the functionality of the "MessageBox".
How does this work?
Quick list of features
It allows for "reforging" level-unique items in any forge as you reach the appropriate level to gain better versions of the items.
It covers all levels of the game standalone, including all DLC.
Two different modes to better suit your type of game.
It adds a book called "In-Depth Tempering Research" to give you some clues that might help you if you choose real mode.
Until you read this book, "recipes" for recreating level-unique items will not be available in the forge menu.
When reading the book for the first time, you can choose between Easy/Test Mode and Real/Prank Mode.
You can change your pattern simply by reading the book again.
About the concept of "reform"
The concept of "recasting" is the one I used for the "Out of Legends" setting. It helps me explain what the mod does and helps you understand how the mod works. It helps avoid misunderstandings.
I use the concept of "deep tempering" or "advanced tempering" when in the context of "within a kill." It's exactly the same, which helps keep it friendly.
Detailed description
When you first install this mod, you will not be able to "rescore" any level-only items. To change this situation, just go to the blacksmith shop "Warmaiden's" at the entrance to Whiterun. There you will find a book called "Deep Tempering Studies". Read it and a message box will pop up asking you which mode you prefer. Click on one of the modes for more details, then select one. You will always be able to change the mode.
Once you choose a mode, you can recreate the level's unique items in any forge. The basic requirements for the "recipes" available in the forging menu are that you are at the appropriate level (varies for each item) and that you have the item you want to recreate in your inventory. Further requirements depend on the mode you choose. Each item requires the lower item you want to improve and a different material for each item.
Next, you'll learn about each mode:
Easy/test mode
In Easy Mode, there are no additional requirements to recreate a level's unique items. Additionally, you'll get a "cheat list," a description of the items you can reforge and instructions on the level required to do so.
true/dear mode
In Realistic Mode, there is also a unique item required to recreate the level, the "Arcane Blacksmith" perk. "Recipes" are not visible in the forge menu unless you have this privilege.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
