About this mod Machine translation
Small extension to Winterhold with 4 additional houses. Meant to be compatible with JK's Skyrim.
Update 1.3: Npcs are now not milk drinkers! They are generally tougher and more courageous in their actions. Unique NPCs are now protected so they are less likely to die due to anomalies in the University questline. If you have an older version and want the npcs to be harder, you can disable/enable them in the console or disable the mod, make a new save and enable the mod. They will also resurrect them if they die during the college mission.
This mod adds 4 new houses to Winterhold, including guarded barracks, with few new NPCs to fill them.
I made this mod because I use JK's Skyrim and wanted Winterhold to be slightly less desolate.
Everything is a navigation network, inside the house, the NPC has its own schedule and will visit the hotel in the evening. None of the new npcs have their own shops as I think the winter stuff is too small to be like Birna's shop.
To avoid conflicts, instead of changing the guard outside the barracks, I added a rest guard inside the barracks. He would be the proper Civil War faction.
I want to thank JK for the great work he did on Skyrim's towns and I recommend installing his mods!

I made this mod because i use JK's Skyrim and wanted to have Winterhold that is slightly less desolate.
Everything is nav meshed, houses have interiors, NPCs have their own schedules and will visit the inn in the evening. None of the new npcs have their own stores as i thought winterhold is too small for more than Birna's store.
To avoid conflicts i didn't change the guards outside the barracks, instead i added one resting guard inside the Barracks. He will be appropriate civil war faction.
I'd like to thank JK for his awesome work on Skyrim's cities and towns, i recommend installing his mods!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
