Standing stones:
I've always thought standing stones weren't that useful late game, except there are only two of them which are the main and Atronach stones, I feel like they could use some buffs
apprentice:
Magicka regeneration rate: 100% > 200%
(increase 200 max magicka)
Magic resistance reduction: 100%
So this stone is good for a cannon mage or magician that stays in the later levels, which is usually a good choice for the early game as the later game is all about max resistance and armor class so I polished off the good side to get it to class. Cannon Mage early game because it can't be a viable late game
Atronach:
Spell Absorption: 50%
Strengthen maximum magic: 50> 200
Magicka regeneration reduction: 50% > 100%
(Magicka does not regenerate)
This has always been the most powerful for non-magic users, especially late game (reduces spell damage by 50% and turns it into magic) but the point is to sacrifice magic, but the 50% regeneration reduction doesn't stop warriors from using it, so I have to change it like tomorrow
This lady:
Health Regeneration: 25% > 50%
Stamina regeneration: 25% > 50%
(50% more enhanced voice persuasion *wink wink*)
This worked, but wasn't that impactful so I grinded it a bit
host:
Armor rating: 50 > 100
Magic Resistance: 25% > 15%
Always the second most powerful standing stone, just because of magic resistance, so I reduced the magic resistance and buffed the armor
lover:
All skills increased by 15% > 50%
Instead of going for mage thief warrior gems etc I would have preferred to give them different effects and combine them all in this one stone, but since most people have completed the game multiple times 25% of all skills doesn't seem to complete it so I grind it down to 50% to reduce wear on skills (assuming you don't use console commands to level up)
Mage:
Overhaul
All spells are 25% more powerful and last 25% longer
All spells have 10% reduced casting cost (stacks with other enchantments to cap at 100%)
(Considering this enchantment is the same as the Archmage's Robe, it stacks with other enchantments)
Thief:
Overhaul
Now increases all thief skills by 25%
25% better sneaky
(stealth detection)
25% better option pickpocketing
Increase lock rate by 25%
25% better sales value
warrior:
Overhaul
Total attack damage increased by 20%
Total armor value increased by 20%
Total temper rate increased by 20% (I made a typo in the mod and entered max health, will be fixed in the next patch)
shadow:
Overhaul
Now this stone enables assassins to make themselves masters of the shadows
Grants immunity to fall damage
Sneak attacks deal 50% extra damage
50% better sneaking (stealth detection)
Now I feel like once a day invisibility is completely worthless since you can cast a spell an infinite number of times giving you the same effect and you just so I turned this stone into category 4
ceremony:
Radius: 75ft > 150ft
Maximum level: 75>100
Duration 200 seconds > 300 seconds
I wanted to revamp this and make it a passive standing stone that would increase the max number of summons by 1 but the ritual power is pretty strong.. so I just grinded it
snake:
Paralysis duration 5>10
Poison damage 5 times per second for 5 seconds = 25 > 10 per second for 10 seconds = 100
Even the bosses are like this (although to avoid bugs instead of dragons)
Now this one was good but not that effective so I modified it and I removed the boss restriction so yo …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
